Is it a lip balm? Is it a gloss? Is it both? Yess! Or atleast, thats what Vaseline claims about it..
Vaseline says: “Vaseline lip care rosy glow is specially formulated to give you soft tint & glossy lips and gives you 24 hour moisturized lips.”
As mentioned before, I am a lip balm hoarder and when i saw this little tube just for Rs 60 / 1.5$ , i knew i had to get it !
Like the Colour: A rosey pinkish red tint- goes on semi sheer but the rosey tint definitely shows up. Its not one of those totally transparent balms.
Like the Texture: Jelly like and feels slightly slick between your lips.Thats something i like- slickness without heavyness
Super Love the Shine: Superglossy- Up until now the Nivea Visage Balm was the shiniest lip balm i had used but in terms of shine factor this Vaseline Rosy Glow beats that hands down
Like the Moisture: Good..not great. I am usually a vaseline junkie- i use the regular vaseline tub on my lips all the time in winters and that is like my saviour literally. This is not as moisturizing as that, but it does a good enough job for a lip balm, keeps them supple and not chapped and lips dont feel parched when it wears off.
Love the Packaging: I love tubes! Theyr easy to apply
Indifferent about Lasting Power: Needs reapplication every 3-4 hours. I think thats kind of standard for a lip balm. Atleast on me, nothing ever lasts beyond 4 hours. The good thing about this is that though the colour may wear off, the shine remains
Random Other things: One strange thing is that when you put this on, it feels cooling on your lips – kind of like how peppermint is – slightly minty cooling feeling. That tends to last for a while. I didnt really mind it but might not float everyones boat
Smells Yummy: Smells like bubblegum, love it .
Price: Rs 60/- ( Love that!)

Overall Verdict: 4/5 – Its my everyday winter lip gloss- great worn on its own or over a lipstick
Other variants: I didnt see any others in the shop and the website doesnt mention em either , but im certain there would be a couple.

hey! even I have this ..got it 2 weeks back…but a few days ago my 35 months old daughter hitched it from me and i havnt been able to lay my hands on it…guess will have to buy a new one!!she just wont give it to me!!hehhehe!…all in all I also love it..!
Good it worked for you. I wasn't so lucky. It smelt like burnt plastic to me so I had to give it away. But I believe it is also available in a light pink version; can't remember the name.
