Before i begin my review on this quickliner, let me tell you what i look for in a black pencil liner
- I want something thats completely smudge free. – I have dark circles , and if the black keeps smudging on me throughout the day, its only going to result in panda eyes (Not in a cute way)
- I need something to last me all day- i work a corporate job and you cant exactly go for frequent touch ups
- I have sensitive eyes, and 90% of pencils make my eyes itch. So it needs to be gentle and pre tested.

This Clinique Quickliner is my holy grail product because it satisfies all three counts
- Completely smudge free- when it starts wearing off, it just evaporates and doesnt smudge. Even if i rub my eyes it doesnt smudge
- Lasts for more than ten hours easily. I am blown away by its lasting power- its amazing
- Very soft and gentle and is opthamologically tested so doesnt harm your eyes in any way
The Clinique Quickliner pencil itself comes attached with a smudger on the other end, so you can go for that smudgy smokey eye effect using this sponge if you like.It also comes in 3-4 other colours, and i have tried the brown one but didnt like it as much as this one in 07- Really Black.
Why you might not like it
- If you like intense blackness with just one swipe- this might dissapoint you. You will need to rub this over the eye area to make it intensely black. But i dont mind that because its so soft and gentle
- It has a twist and roll out kind of mechanism – but its not retractable which sometimes gets annoying

Will i Repurchase: I stock up on these- have 2 stashed away for emergencies! (Though i dont know what exactly an eye pencil emergency entails !) . Lets just say i cant live without it.

Nice thing but very pricey. I would rather go for lakme nine to five and the Avon glimmer sticks. did you try the Maybelline one? Such a put off!

hey mehek…i just got quickliner intense in dark blue color. the SA said it works very well as a kohl. but boy…it stung on waterline!! the color is soo smooth and pigmented and glossy! but i read on clinique’s website the reviewers dont like intense version as much as the normal one.. have u used the intense one? can u plz compare the two? coz i am confused which one to buy next. i need these in black and chocolate color. confused abt the staying power as which one stays better.

I dont use the intense one..The regular quickliner is not so pigmented as the intense and not as glossy either but it is the most mild and sensitive one so it will never sting!
