Look and Outfit of the Day: Saree Style ..

in Shoppin in Delhi

The hottest news currently is obviously the fact that India beat Pak in a cracker of a game, and is now getting ready to face the other men in blue- Sri Lanka! However, in other less significant news….another one of my cousins got hitched! They are falling like a pack of cards i tell you. At this rate, all my cousins will have kids even before the legal drinking age in Delhi (Its 25 people..yes i have been illegally drinking all this while). As promised , this is my OOTD at one of her functions..
Keep Reading for Makeup pictures, and some serious saree shopping ….

What is so pretty about this saree is that there is this jewel detailing on the hip above When you wear it, the jewel detailing looks like you have a jewelled hip belt (Tagdi) on. Its gorgeous !!! I would have shown you the back of my blouse which had a very low scooped back and had cut work detailing but i am kind of scared of creepy  cyber guys letching at my back :p. So shall avoid.

Outfit Breakdown
Saree: Greenways, South Extension Price: Rs 14000/- during sale

Makeup Breakdown
Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation

Colorbar Peachy Rose Blush (Visible in the pic in which im pretending to dance)
Colorbar Radiant Glow Highlighter Pen

MAC Expensive Pink Eyeshadow all over lid(LOVE this- best eyeshadow IMO for all Indian Wear!!)
Soft Brown from Nyx pallette in crease area
Maybelline Gel liner on top lid
Revlon Kohl on Bottom lash
Maybelline Collosal Volume Mascara

MAC Viva Glam Cyndi in some pictures, Estee Lauder lipstick in some pictures

That list is probably the maximum amount of makeup i have ever worn!!! But it still looks natural and non made up and thats how i think makeup should be. In my cousins words

‘  Just because you are going for a wedding doesnt mean you should look like a christmas tree!’

Hi, love your suggestions and product reviews.
I want to buy an A-line ankle length skirt so can you suggest some designs, patterns, colors and places from where i can get a few at cheap rates. Also what to team-up with it and how to accessorize.

Hi Mehak,
Love Love your blog. I am so addicted to this, that i keep checking it out during my work hours. Must say, you have an amazing sense of style. The best part of it is, whatever you have in your blog is something that I(and most of Indian girls out there) can relate to. Very affordable, simple and non fussy.. And thanks for the list of shops in Delhi. It’s crazy, but this blog is the go to place when I badly need some soul soothing.. ;)
