MAC Peachykeen is my first M.A.C blush. I got this as a gift from the “cute boy” on my birthday last year. It was one of my happiest MAC moments. I got this blush along with a few eyeshadows. I was in MAC heaven!!! I had gone thinking I will buy a matte blush, but this color is sooo pretty. I had to have it the moment I swatched it. Unfortunately for my wallet many such happy MAC moments have followed over the course of 1 year. That is a whole another sad story. For now lets talk about this purrrrty blush shall we?

Peachykeen is a sheertone shimmer blush from MAC. The color is really beautiful –it’s a mélange of pink, peach and fine golden shimmer. It leans more towards pink than coral on my skin tone. I love this blush for a pop of color on my cheeks when I am in the mood for fun girly makeup. Since this is a sheertone blush it requires a couple of swipes to really give that bright color.  One swipe is what I go for when I such want a subtle shimmery pink blush look.

Peachykeen looks really good at night . Since this is a shimmery blush, the color looks very luminous and glowy at night. I would say this is a perfect blush for a candle light date- its subtle so that the boy doesn’t get too alarmed about the hot pink on your cheeks and its just the right kind of luminous to give that soft focus glow.

The Good?
I love the color. Its really pretty and would suit all skin tones I believe.
Since this is a sheertone blush it is quite subtle. It requires a couple of swipes for the color to really show. I love the MAC sheertone blush. I prefer building up a sheer blush rather than trying to mute a bright one.
I love how blendable this is.

The Not so good?
It might not show if you are darker than NC 45.

Rating? 4.5/5
If I ever run out of this blush I will definitely repurchase. This is one of my go to blushes for a night out. MAC has just soo many pretty blushes. MAC Springsheen and Peachtwist  look quite similar to Peachykeen. I am eyeing Desert Rose next. I swatched it recently  and so wanted to take it home with me.Have you tried the MAC Peachykeen blush?
