Ponds Age Miracle Tinted Moisturizer Review

by mehak on August 8, 2011

in Face Products, Foundation

Everytime i think about how late i jumped on to the Ponds Tinted Moisturizer bandwagon, i kick myself. The “Age Miracle” tag put me off and i kept thinking that i dont want an anti ageing product right now ! Well, i am glad i finally got out of that state and bought this thing, because this is the best tinted moisturizer in the market, given how cheap it retails for !

Ponds Claim:“An anti ageing cream with a tinted base, can also be used as an foundation in an easy to use pack.
Anti-ageing skincare with a natural “ no makeup ” finish with light weight, tinted anti-ageing moisturizer. Reduces fine lines, wrinkles and age spots”

Ponds Age Miracle Tinted Moisturizer: Perfect for a dewy glow!
I am on my third tube of this thing, and i cannot get enough of it. It is the perfect everyday moisturizer which evens out your skin tone, and stays put for a long long time. The coverage it gives is low to medium, and moisturizes your entire face along with giving it some amount of sun protection (SPF 15) .
In sticky summer months, when you cannot think of applying oodles of gloop on your face, my trusted Ponds Age Miracle Tinted Moisturizer always comes to the rescue. It is lightweight, absorbs into the skin quickly, and does not feel like you are wearing anything at all! The effect it gives is a nice dewy glow to your face..oily skin girls may like to set it with powder, but for me its the perfect finish! It is what i wear for work everyday, or even for quick dinners with friends…
No Comments on reducing wrinkles and dark spots (i don’t have any at the moment- oh thank you god !) . The one issue i have with this is that it reflects so much light (read: radiaaannccee!) that sometimes that causes issues with flash photography…you glow a little too bright and white! Nothing out of control, just something you might notice slightly if your hobby is to star at your photographs intently. Kudos on the packaging as well, cute little tube with  a squirty nozzle, makes for controlled application

Ponds Age Mircle Tinted Moisturizer Sheer Ivory Swatch: Blended into Skin

Overall Verdict :5/5 or A+

Will I repuchase: Three tubes down
Shades Available: Sheer Ivory (01), Sheer Rose (02) , Sheer Honey(03) . I use Sheer Rose usually, but it was out of stock last time,so i picked up Sheer Ivory and that works too!
Price: Rs 215/-
Recommendations: This is one of my budget super stars ! For 200 bucks you get a moisturizer that evens out your skin, gives you the perfect dewy glow and is your best friend in sticky summer months! Holy Grail for me!

Hi,lvd the review. I too am in luv wid dis product in sheer ivory but its no longer available in market, not even online :(
However i found it in a shop but its expiry is in April this year.Should i buy it?when should we stop using a product-after its expiry or 1-2months pror to its expiry?
PS: sheer rose is available in market but i am too skeptical about it being a little darker than ivory. Is there any difference?i love my sheer ivory glow, dnt wana change it a bit :(

hey hi i jus cum across ur amazing blog n dis amazing ponds tm…
i am sceptical which shade i should go for i am a kashmiri but now live in city which has taken toll on my complexion

Dear ashima,
I am medium skin and i can wear either 01 or 02 with ease. So yoiu can definitely still go with 01 which is lightest. Since this is not a foundation and doesnt cake your face, it shouldnt matter.
