Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Papaya
There are some things which are ‘acquired tastes’. Like Red Bull- have it once and you might be like ‘Blech! Thats cough medicine’ …but once you have about a can or two, you are like ‘Whee..Red Bull Gives Me Wings” (Okay no..that only happens if you mix vodka in it…but you know what i mean right!) Another acquired taste is Papaya- and honestly its something that i have just NOT been able to acquire ! My mother has begged and pleaded me to eat this pulpy orange fruit but the minute it comes near my nose, there is this impulsive reaction where  i just scoot to the other end of the room!  However, this papaya in Revlon Colorburst lip gloss form, is right up my alley!
Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Papaya- The Color
Papaya is the kind of color which you see in the tube and say ‘That is flouroscent orange!!!!’. But on lips, its a pretty pinky coral. Think morning summer brunch, a cool white sundress, large shades and a lovely wash  of light coral on your lips called Papaya. Since it is not in you face orange, it would suit just about anyone. A lot of really fair people shy away from corals since it makes them look oompa-loompa-ish but i feel Papaya would work  on everyone- warm or cool skintone !
Thoughts on Revlon Colorburst Lipglosses
Depending on which lip gloss you buy, i think the quality differs widely. Some of them are incredibly sheer, and glittery (not my thing!), but others like Mr. Papaya here are very pigmented with very fine unnoticeable micro shimmer. So really, as far as pigmentation is concerned  it all comes down to which shade you choose.
These glosses are on the thicker, slightly sticky side with a scent that i honestly cant put my finger on. What i really like about these is that they are very moisturizing, after about 3 hours when the color is all but gone, you get a soft lip-balm esque shine to your lips and they dont feel dry at all. They have a tendency to bleed around your lips but that is me being overly critical.

One thing about Mr. Colorburst Lipgloss i dont particularly like  is that it has a somewhat large and flat applicator. I personally much prefer the tapering doe-foot applicators of Miss Chambor- it does better around the edges of the lips and is more precise than this flat chubby thing.

Recommendation: Papaya is a lovely way to wear  a soft coral- with a orange tint  in it ! These glosses are shiny, and slightly thick without being gloopy! Depending on which shade you pick, you can get either sheer glittery ones (not my thing) or decently pigmented ones like Papaya! It all comes down to which shade you pick! They are all super moisturizing though- which is always a good thing!
