At S.Oliver Casual, traditional themes of dandy and preppy meet military and nomadic influences as separates turn classical for the cold season. In Womenswear, ponchos, capes and coarse knit cardigans appear in eye catching structures with detailings like fringes and faux fur trims. Corduroy is also seen on a stretch version of drainpipe cargos and Jeggings remain important (as Power Stretch ensures the right fit). For Menswear, preppy college meets sporty when traditional patterns like glen check & stripes are layered with denim and corduroy. Double breasted cardigans and narrow cargo pants display the military touches. The 30s are reflected in use of traditional patterns – a wool tie in herringbone pattern perfectly finishes off the dandy look!
The contrast of the country and city life is the inspiration behind QS by s.Oliver. Aptly titled – “Urban Boho”, this theme combines the funky club look with cozy winter fashions. For QS Female, “On tops” are stylish yet warm, ranging from parkas, capes to duffle coats and faux fur jackets!. Towards the end of the season, the Music Scene theme picks up for both male and female collections! The 80s disco takes over the QS Female segment while the Vintage Music Theme is injected with sporty hints for QS Male (a classic hoodie is revamped with front pockets & zips in contrasting colours, while sweats are redone with scarf collars with toggle buttons)!
The s.Oliver Selection segment is inspired this season by the classic British Heritage. Traditional fabrics and patterns like hound’s-tooth, glen check, corduroy, tweed, pinstripes and herringbone are given new interpretations. At Selection Men the focus plays on the British countryside whereas Selection Women plays on the “Brit meets Military and Equestrian” theme.
