One of my secret weapons to ensuring my eyeshadow lasts all day is the by applying Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion BEFORE putting on my eyeshadow. It’s magic in a bottle and any makeup artist worth their weight in gold, has this in their kit. I have used MANY primers over the years that promised to prevent eyeshadow from creasing, fading and disappearing. They all failed miserably. Not until I found the primer potion from Urban Decay a few years ago was I confident in telling my friends that their makeup would last all night.

Variants of UDPP
The original formula is ivory in color and sheer. Their 2nd version, Sin, is a staple in my makeup kit and looks amazing on any complexion because it’s a champagne color with a bit of shimmer to it. The Eden version is used mainly on women who need a little concealing on their eyelids if their lids look a bit veiny/pink and it also has a wonderful matte finish. Urban Decay now offers a professional size of the original (most popular) formula which made me very happy as I go through a lot of this.

TIP FOR APPLYING: You really don’t need alot of this stuff. So pull out the wand, dab 2-3 dots all over the eye and use your ring finger to spread it over the eyelid. When using the Original and Eden, feel free to rub it all the way up to the brow bone.
Seriously ladies, this is the best product out there. I GUARANTEE your eyeshadow will not fade, crease or disappear using this. You can find this at Sephora or online. It only cost $18 and that isn’t much considering a little goes a long way by applying just a dab. Thank your for letting me share one of my favorite beauty products with you!
