Fabindia Aloe Vera Under Eye Gel
I have a friend who has the most gorgeous flawless skin. She has the kind of skin that radiates and glows and i havent seen her once having a bad skin day.One of her beauty secrets is drinking a glass of aloe vera juice everyday. She mixes aloe vera with water and guzzles it down everyday. Now, honestly i just cant get myself to drink that. It looks and smells creepy and every time i put the glass to my mouth, i feel like throwing up. So instead i try and incorporate aloe vera in other skin care routines- like this Fabindia Aloe Vera Under Eye Gel.

Fabindia claims “This unique formula contains aloe vera gel that reduces puffiness and revives tired looking eyes. Regular use helps reduce dark circles and prevents wrinkles.”

My experience

The good first- it does work somewhat on puffiness. I have very little puffiness and it did  depress most of what  was there. It is also cooling and refreshing under the eyes so it feels really nice. Plus cheap too- what other under eye ointment comes for 125 bucks? It also hydrates the under eye area, which akes fine lines look less prominent.

The bad- It is kind of  sticky :(  I mean i remember sleeping at night and whenever any kind of skin rubbed against it, it just felt sticky to me, i had to go and wash it all off. I kind of sits on your skin and doesn’t blend in which is the reason for the stickiness.  Worst- it contains parabens. I thought Fab India+ Aloe Vera= Natural Herbal Heaven right? Wrong! Those creepy parabens got around in this one as well!

Overall Verdict: 3/5 or B-
Price: 125/-

Will I Repurchase: No
Recommendation: Its a clear gel that actually does work slightly on puffiness! It doesnt do much for dark circles though, and i just found it  really sticky  and inconvenient under my eye when i left it on over the night. Fact that it contains parabens really kills it
