Your first kiss , they say …is always special , and while this lipstick doesn’t really qualify as my first kiss it definitely is one of the sweetest kisses (Sorry ‘ boy!’) . Bourjois Sweet Kiss lipsticks are a bit of a handful to open (all Bourjois products have these strange opening mechanisms and gadgetry – i have a feeling that mechanical engineers work in their packaging unit) , but the results inside are worth the effort!
Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick: Sienne Kiss
Sienne Kiss is a light peachy nude . It’s one of those polished, understated kind of colors and is that kind of nude that is also really pretty just as an everyday color even with a neutral eye if you are fair- medium skin toned. I think this may wash out some of the darker girls out there, but under a gloss it would work for them as well. It is also a bit of a unique color- i have a lot of nude lipsticks in my stash and this one definitely stands out i cant really think of another color that is very close to this.
General Thoughts on Bourjois Sweet Kiss Naturel Lipstick
I found this lipstick to be really lightweight and soft, and very moisturizing. They kind of hug the lips without weighing them down or feeling gloopy which is a major ‘yay’ factor. They are not the most creamy or buttery lipsticks i have tried, and neither are they very long lasting (the Original Sweet kiss wore long but the naturel one somehow doesnt), but the end product is still pretty damn good. The nice thing about them is they can be built up to completely opaque coverage, or sheered out if you want .I do wish they got more shades in this range-there werent too many which caught my eye
Price: Rs 660/-
WIll I Repurchase: If i like another color.
Recommendation: Pretty, Peachy and Nude. If you are fair- medium toned you will be able to carry this off pretty well, but darker girls might get washed out if not worn with a gloss. Bourjois lipsticks are really lightweight and moisturizing, but the Naturel ones dont fare that well in the longevity department
