Colorbar is the type of brand i call an Indian Born Confused Indian (IBCI) .Its a home grown, desi brand and a good one at that but they insist on calling themselves Colorbar USA ! Its just so bizarre! Anyway, while it comes to terms with the reality of its nationality, i picked up my first ever Colorbar Diva Lipstick in ‘For Keeps’ .

For Keeps: A Beige Nude

If you are looking for a true nude lipstick without undertones of pink, then For Keeps is the one for you. Since darker girls are always on the hunt of their perfect nude lipstick, Colorbar For Keeps will be a nice option if you are on a budget – it does not look like concealer on your lips, nor does it make you look dead like those pale nudes that look really aweful on us. I do recommend you wear this only when you have  a heavier eye, because it is such a true nude that if you pair it with a soft eye then you run the risk of looking washed out.

Colorbar Diva Lipstick
I actually really liked how smooth and creamy these were to work with. The pigmentation was great and they did not dry out my lips. They give is a nice polished finish to the lips- and have a sheen to them similar to Mac Cremesheens. They do have a lasting power problem, but most lipsticks do on my lips anyway.

Colorbar Diva Lipstick Swatch :Natural light No Flash

Colorbar Diva Lipstick Swatch :Indoors with Flash

Overall Verdict :  A-
Pigmentation:4/5 , Texture: 4/5, Lasting Power: 3/5 , Other(Packaging, Value) : 4/5

Will I repurchase: I want another Diva Lipstick!

Price: Rs 350/-

Recommendation: For Keeps is a nice true beigey nude which is perfect for heavier eyes. For medium skin girls on a budget , looking for a true nude, this is a nice one to pick. Specially if worn under a gloss, it looks great !
