First of all, it had me at ‘Cocoa Butter’ . Put Cocoa Butter in anything, and you have got me drooling- it is one of those skin care ingredients that smells like heaven- like Hot Melted Chocolate ! As far as the lip butter itself is concerned- it does it job. It does moisturize and prevents chapping – though don’t expect overnight results. It took continued usage of about two weeks for me to see real effects of this on continued chapping, though on an everyday basis i could see that my lips remained soft and moisturized .
What i don’t particularly love about this is that it is a very thick butter- so it kind of sits on your lips and you cant apply any other lip product (like lipsticks) over it , which kind of limits its use. So my favourite way of using it is just to apply it and sleep over it. The tub packaging is not something i am overly fond of either, but i can deal with it.
Price: Rs 120/-
Recommendation:Overall it is a really nice winter lip product- moisturizes and soothes chapped lips , and smells totally yummy! It cant be used to layer under other lip products because its so thick, but at 120/- bucks..i can totally deal.
