Makeup Trousseau Shopping: What To Put In Your Bridal Makeup Box

This is hands down, one of the most requested posts ever for me ! I haven’t started doing my own bridal trousseau makeup shopping since the wedding is a while away, but here are some suggestions for those of you who are tieing the knot sometime soon. I have tried to include all different types of brands and range of prices to give a lot of options. You can choose depending on your budget!

Everyday Foundation: Ponds Tinted Moisturizer, Lakme Silk Naturelle, Lakme Invisible Finish (All less than 300 rs)


Heavier Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix (Rs 950) , Revlon Colorstay Foundation (Rs 750) ,  Mac Studio Fix Foundation (Rs 1500/-), Chanel Vitalumiere (Rs 2500/-), Body Shop Foundations( Rs 1050/-), Lancome Tient Miracle (Rs 2700/-)


What i Would Buy? Ponds TM for everyday, Bourjois Healthy Mix and Mac Studio Fix for heavier occasions.

What Would I Buy: Lakme Multi Mineral Compact (I dont use too much Powder). I do feel like splurging on the Estee Holiday COmpacts so might get those!

Liquid Liners:
Dont use too many liquid liners. I have a basic Lakme 9 to 5 one which is okay. Also tried the Colorbar Liquid Eye Liner which was nice

Since i would be doing bridal shopping, and i can splurge- i would DEFINITELY get one lipstick from Chanel/ YSL and Lancome as well.

What Would I Buy: I would definitely get  MAC Expensive pink since i love wearing that with indian wear. Apart from that i would just choose colors from Inglot since its so much more affordable and the same quality! . I might buy a Chanel / Guerlain Quad as collector item though!

What Would I Buy: Im happy with my Colorbar Highlighter Pen. Also,  i use eyeshadows a lot for highlighting so would be good with those. I do love the Dior Skin Shimmers – they are totally fab, so if im feeling rich i may get those but really its not necessary.

Mac Brushes (Mac 239, Mac 224, Mac 217)
Inglot Brushes
Sigma F80 Kabuki Brush (For Foundation)
Sigma Eyeshadow Brushes

What Would I buy: I would buy the Mac 239 for picking up color, Vega Professional for crease and blending, and some   more Body Shop for Blending eyeshadows. For Blush brushes, any would do. For Foundation i would pick a high quality kabuki- the Sigma F80 Kabuki is my favourite and it really makes a difference to how well your foundation is applied. Also would definitely get an eyelash curler. It makes a world of a difference.
