Before I begin with my rave/ rant here let me confess that I am a Body Shop Addict and you can probably feel the love in the post to come. Writing my first ever product review, here is the Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm

Claims that Body Shop makes- A glossy and moisturising lip balm, with a sweet fruity flavour, that leaves lips looking and feeling soft, smooth and kissable. The product works as per the claims.

My Review:The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip balm is a  glossy lip balm which lends shine to your lips. Though the balm looks pink in colour but it is more or less colourless on application. The balm smells of yummy fresh strawberries, and the scent is so strong that as soon as you open the jar you feel like you have a strawberry in your hand! It stays on for a good amount of time, but as winter is approaching some may find the need to re-apply it again in every few hours because it is not as moisturizing as other lip balms can be, even though for a few hours it leaves lips soft and supple
No itching and no smudging or bleeding has been observed so far.

The balm is priced at Rs. 195 for 10 ml. The price in my opinion is optimum. Many Oriflame balms are priced at the same rate so I guess price is okay. Also one thing should be kept in mind that Body Shop products are used in very small quantities. So it is a total value for money. And compared with Oriflame and other brands, Body Shop is much better in quality.

Pros and Cons
  1. Product smells very good
  2. Leaves your lips soft, smooth and supple
  3. Affordable
  4. Just a little quantity does the good so goes on for a long time
  5. Over all very good quality

  1. Body Shop requires 3-4 applications in a day if you want to keep the soft, supple feeling alive

Rating :4/5 or A-

Price: Rs. 195 for 10 ml

Recommendations: It smells of fresh strawberries, and gives a glossy look to the lips. You do require frequent re-applications, but apart from that i love it
