If I was asked to pick out the most drool worthy item in my entire makeup collection it would definitely be my freedom system palette from Inglot. I’m sure most of you would be familiar with this brand by now but for those of you who are new here’s a wee bit about them taken from the site.

“INGLOT Company was established over 25 years ago by Wojtek Inglot, a young chemist working at that time in R&D department in pharmaceutical company. His principal objective was to produce high quality products at fair and reasonable prices, using only the best possible ingredients and raw materials from the most reputable suppliers.”.

Inglot offers 5 kinds of eye shadow finishes and I own three of them.

Matte-dull finish sans any sparkle.

DS(Double sparkle)-I presume these are loaded with sparkle just like the name suggests.

Pearl-kind of satin finish minus any chunky glitter.

AMC(Advanced makeup component)-sounds odd right? The ingredients are supposed to be perspiration resistant and talc free and contains vitamin E.

AMC shine-similar to pearl finish but are more finely milled.

Inglot offers the most amazing array of colors to dress up your peepers and I had a really tough time choosing just ten shades-would have loved to grab all of them but that would mean looting a bank first.The shadow refills(round/square) are INR 300.00 each and different palette permutations are available. The 10 shadow round palette set me back by INR 1400 but since I got a 30% off, the whole palette cost me just over 3K.

PALETTE ROW 1 L-R-26 S,407P,48S,450P,402P

ROW 2 L-R-420 P,378M,433P,44S,414P

26 Shine-Beautiful champagne colour which reminds me of light blonde hair as well. Works as a highlighter and I mostly use it for lighting up the inner corners

407 Pearl-Peachy/Orangey(is that really a word) shade with a hint of gold. Looks more orange but not OTT and is perfect for the festive season.

48 Shine-Frosted pink and a must have if u are a fan of girly colours.

450 Pearl-Cranberry pink. A perfect fall colour which I think is similar to MAC cranberry

402 Pearl-Taupeish brown.Great all over lid colour for office/formal occasions

420 Pearl-Metallic grey.Looks awesome when worn alone and if you want a bit of mystery pair this with a carbon black shadow on the crease and outer corner.

378 Matte-The only matte in the whole palette, this one is a deep cool toned brown.

433 Pearl-A golden olive shade and my favourite of the lot, it’s a universally flattering colour.

44 Shine-Moss green with sparkles, another lovely shade for the festive season.

414 Pearl-A deep teal blue colour which by the way is perfect for a smoky eye.

Summing up the pros and the cons

A whole lot of colours and different finishes to choose from.

Affordable and amazing quality for the price.

Pigmentation is awesome, super blendable and I’ve noticed no fallout.

Long wearing and does not crease.

Can also be used as eyeliners when mixed with duraline.

The packaging is chic and I prefer the sliding magnetic lid to the regular palette cases.

Availability is an issue.

How I wish these shadows had pretty names instead of just random numbers-they’re not prisoners after all.

Swatches on the site are totally misleading so ordering online is not really an option unless there are good swatches available online.

Those who have the habit of moving around their shadows will have a hard time with the palette coz it really is a pain to remove these from the slots but a strong magnet might do the trick.

Verdict: 5/5 or A+

Would I recommend the product-Yes. If you are looking for good quality e/s without the MAC/MUFE price tag. I’m already dreaming of my next palette. May be I’ll try their blushes next.

Check Temptalia’s site for spectacular swatches. She’s got many many of them. That’s how I put together my order list, except I ordered directly from an eBay seller in Poland.
