Hi y’all .This is my first post for PNB and I’m thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community.Today, I’m sharing with you five of my favourite Fab India products that are staples in my vanity/dressing.
Firstly, I love this brand because of the quality it delivers at very reasonable prices. Their products suit me really well and the results are visible!
I have normal skin with a slightly oily T-zone. My skin is usually well-behaved in winters. Fab India products give my skin all the pampering & TLC it needs .

The following products are a part of my daily routine and I just can’t do without them.

1. Fabindia Lavender Skin Toner

What the brand claims:

“An alcohol free hydrating toner that cleanses, refreshes and soothes your skin.”

I am always skeptical about using toners during winters as they leave me skin feeling too tight for comfort. But few enlarged pores on my cheeks leave me with no choice. It was only when I laid my hands on this fabulous product, my life changed a lot (well, might sound a little too dramatic, but I’m sure you know how it feels when you’ve found a product that actually works for you!). This toner does its job well, without making my skin parched (extra points for being alcohol-free). However, it has a strong lavender sort of fragrance which might not be appealing to everyone, but it fades away as soon as the toner soaks into the skin.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Lavender Essential Oil.

2. Fabindia Honey Frankincense Face Wash

What the brand claims:
“A moisturising face wash ideal for dry skin, containing honey and frankincense essential oil that moisturises and rejuvenates the skin. This mildly fragrant face wash leaves the skin soft and supple.”
This is the perfect face wash for winters as it does not leave my skin dry & parched. It is very gentle yet it cleans off well. The moisturizing properties are vital as that prevents the loss of moisture that the skin goes through during this weather. It has a very subtle fragrance, doesn’t bother me at all.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Cocoamidopropylbetaine, Coco-Diethanolamide, Honey, Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Chloride, Polysorbate 20, Frankinscence Oil, Kathon CG, Citric Acid.

  1. Fabindia Aloe Vera Under Eye Gel
    What the brand claims:

“This unique formula contains aloe vera gel that reduces puffiness and revives tired looking eyes. Regular use helps reduce dark circles and prevents wrinkles.”

This under eye gel is one tricky product. I was a bit reluctant when I saw it on the shelf because the gel looks all gooey & sticky, and the idea of putting it under my eyes made me flinch. But believe me, you don’t even know where the gel disappears . I started using it a month back and for about two weeks it did nothing at all. I wanted to just throw away the remaining gel as it didn’t seem to work. I have always had a hard time trying to find a good under eye product. Just because I could not imagine my mom screaming at me for yet another useless purchase, I decided to finish off the jar. And to my surprise, it started working brilliantly. I had bad dark circles and puffy under eye area. The puffiness is past baby! But the dark circles are taking some time. There’s a huge difference in these dark circles who seemed to cling to me forever, but they aren’t completely gone. I’m quite pleased with the product though.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Aloe Vera Extract, Glycerine, Triethano- lamine, Carbopol, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben.

  1. Fabindia Orange & Cinnamon Face and Body Gel Scrub
    What the brand claims:

“Our body and face gel scrub, especially formulated for daily use is made with natural active ingredients. It gently exfoliates the skin leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated all day long.”

I scrub my face once/twice a week. But as my skin is quite sensitive, I’m not so friendly with harsh scrubs. I use this scrub only for my face and it does a beautiful job. It smells exactly like spiced orange jam…yummy! No, I don’t eat it :p The granules are small and not too hard. All in all, it is a gentle scrub. So if you’re looking for something for those snobbish blackheads, this ain’t your pick. But for a mild scrub, it does a fantastic job.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Walnut Shell Powder, Carbopol 940, Aloe Vera Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Lactic Acid, Cinnamon Oil, Orange Oil, Allantoin

 5.   Fabindia Lemongrass Facial Spray
Fabindia Claims” Made with lemongrass essential oil, this facial spray has a cooling effect that instantly rejuvenates and refreshes you. ”
The last and my most favourite product is this spray. You’d always find it in my bag. It goes with me everywhere! I use it more often in summers than in winters. It is a cooling and refreshing spray – an instant pick-me-up. Specially on those scorching days when you don’t even want to wear make up no matter how bad your skin looks, this is a saviour. It has an evident lemongrass scent which may not be liked by everyone. But personally, I love the fragrance and the overall effect.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Polysorbate 20, Glycerine, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Lemongrass Essential Oil.
