Parachute Advanced Body Lotion Review
Written by : Guest Writer Sangeeta
Every time I head out shopping I create a check list items I want to buy, and every time, like all women I end up picking at least one item that’s not on the list. One such item I picked up was the Parachute Advansed Body Lotion. The packaging looked very different and since one can never have too many moisturizers in winter I bought this. The product claims to be “Made with milk of coconut fruit which makes skin soft and silky. Contains 100% natural moisturizers and provides intense care for dry skin.

I like moisturizers that sink into the skin quickly and don’t leave a greasy feeling behind. The product wins in this category, but after this it is a downhill. The Parachute body lotion claims to be for dry skin but fails to even moisturize normal skin. The moisturizing power is too light for winters and may not be enough even for summer. The smell is uugghh, not pleasant at all. It smells like coconut fused with some chemical, a major turn off. The packaging looks different with the curvy shape. The consistency is nice, not too thick not too runny. The lasting power is less and I feel the need to reapply this again. It also contains parabens.

What I Like
  • Sinks into the skin quickly
  • Doesn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling
  • Decent pricing
What I don’t really like
  • Though it claims to be for dry skin the moisturizing power is very less
  • Has a funny smell
  • Needs to be reapplied. Lasting power is less
  • Contains parabens
Overall Verdict: C

Price: Rs 49/- for 100ml

If you really want to pick this up, do smell it before you buy it. It doesn’t do a great job at moisturizing either!

I actually used this product for quite some time and found it to suit my skin type. It provides the right type of moisturizing for my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. Parachute Advansed body lotion is very value for money and the natural ingredients make my skin more softer. I would recommend it to others!

Products will work differently for different people. Its nice that most products come in small trial packs so that we can try it before hand. Glad it worked for you. It didn’t suit my dry skin much.

I’ve been using Parachute Advansed Body Lotion for a month now… it has made my skin noticeably softer and more sensitive to the touch.. I love the way it makes me feel! I think its a great moisturizer for my oily skin!

I’m guessing its a product that will suit oily skin better. Doesn’t do much for dry skin.

Hey thanks for this review.. I’m surprised to see that you didn’t like the fragrance.. I thought it had a nice sweet smell which wasn’t very overpowering like some other lotions. The lotion was not greasy either and I liked the moisturizing effect of it.. It worked quite well for my normal skin during this winter season.

Thanks Priyanka. My skin is quite dry in winter especially my legs and the moisturiser didn’t do much to it. I’m usually quite picky about fragrances and few smells ticks my nose in the wrong way.

Thanks for this review.. Been hearing some great things about this body lotion and have recently started using it and so far it has worked well for me. I generally have good skin so maybe this lotion worked better for me..

Glad it worked for you. My legs feel parched in winter and this didn’t do much to it.
