Revlon Colorburst Lipstick Hazelnut  Review

Written by Guest Writer: CSP Ballal

There are so many shades to love in the Colorburst range, that beauty addicts like me get totally confused! .The super creamy Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 050 Hazelnut is a product that is to be seriously considered for investing in. (Yes, makeup is an investment!)

Revlon claims about the product:
-Instant burst of rich, true color with a featherlight feel
-Elasticolor™ technology provides immediate color release and hugs lips with a burst of weightless color that feels like a second skin
-Available in 20 gorgeous shades, including 5 new shades!

Hazelnut is an everyday warm, brown shade with very minute shimmers. The shimmers are not at all visible but the color has a luster in itself. . This color is not too glossy or matte and gives a perfect shade of brown to the lips. If you have a pigmented lips, then this is a must  have color in your collection. Specially for Indian Skin tones, this hides the pigmentation on the lips very well and suits dusky girls to the T !
Like other colorburst lipsticks, this too is pigmented , creamy with a nice formula. The texture is not drying, but i cant say it is moisturizing either. It lasts a good while on the lips, glides on comfortably and looks very sleek with the chequered patterns on a black colored lipstick package. They do have a wide squarish tip, so application might not be as precise as those with pointed tips, but i still love this range! Like other colorburst lipsticks this too needs 2-3 swipes for the full color to show, and the shade on the sticker is slightly darker than the real shade.
Rating: 4/5     or A-
Price: Rs.550
Recommendation: Enjoy the  warm brown color of Hazelnut everyday. Its a great understated color for office events, or just as an everyday shade for those with pigmented lips- specially those with Indian skin tones.
