Body Shop Micro Dermabrasion

Body Shop Vitamin C Micro Dermabrasion Review by Guest Writer Saranya

There are days where the normal cleansing, scrubbing routine just isn’t enough and your skin needs that extra push! That is where the Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion comes in. The Body Shop calls its Vitamin C Microdermabrasion a “Weekly home spa exfoliation. With vitamin c rich Amazonian camu camu and community trade shea butter”

DIRECTIONS (as given) Smooth onto wet skin, massage in circular motions to improve surface texture, and rinse. Use only once a week. Not suitable for sensitive skin.

This citrus smelling product comes in a  convenient orange tube with a flip cap. It is creamy and has very fine particles. In fact The particles are so fine that it feels like grains of sand in your hand (Whoa that rhymes!).

I apply a small amount of the Body Shop  Vitamin C Micro Dermabrasion to my clean, damp skin   and then I massage it gently over my skin in circular movements, as advised on the packaging. I then wash my face with warm water and use my moisturizer.  I have been using the product for the past four months. After using the scrub my skin feels extremely smooth, soft and glowy.  While the granules are fine, they do a great job of exfoliating the skin without being extra harsh on it. I have noticed that over a period of time it has helped me with my acne scars. They haven’t completely disappeared but there has been a noticeable amount of fading of the scars.

Ofcourse on the downside, the price is a major dampener but considering you get 75 ml worth of product which lasts a really long time, this isnt as expensive as its made out to be.

If you have sensitive skin or skin with active breakouts then i would advise you to try the Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion out in samples before taking the plunge!

Overall Verdict: A-

Price: I bought it for 995 but now the price has been increased to 1035 for 75ml.

Will I Repurchase: Well, i want to try the Ponds Dermabrasion kit so i might get tht, but i might get this one again!

Recommendation: If you want to indulge in soft, smooth and glowy skin, then this is worth the investment!!

All these microdermabrasion things are quite expensive, so even i get put off bu them. But the ponds one is really intriguing since it has all these gadgets and all!

Nice and very interesting. I’ve been using Nubrilliance microdermabrasion and it’s amazingly works.
