Inglot Lipstick 51- Freedom System Lipstick Palette

*Spank *Spank*Spank*Whip*Whip*

Before you get any sort of wierd (or sexual)  ideas as to what im doing, im simply spanking my Inglot Lipstick Palette. No i dont have wierd fetishes, its just that everytime i  want to swatch a lipstick from my Inglot Lipstick Palette, i forget the name of that lipstick and then begins the process of me spanking it hard on its butt till the little round pans fall out saying “Owcch that hurts” and i can see the number printed on the back. That”s what you get when you dont name your lipsticks Inglot- those numbered little soul-less lip colors get tortured at the hands of evil Indian Beauty Bloggers *Inserts Evil Laugh -*Spank**

Coming to the point- Inglot Lipstick 51 is the kind of color that i can very easily imagine myself wearing even when im 51 (Hmm..imagines aged lips 26 years into the future-). Its that pretty, neutral rose pink that when you are young looks fresh and pretty, and when you are older looks understated and sophisticated. Its a really nice color for both warm and cool skintones, and if you are medium skin tone or lighter like me, makes a very pretty everyday lip. Darker girls may want to test out whether it washes them out, because it does tend to look lighter on the lips than swatched on my hand!

Inglot Freedom System Lipstick  Palette: Thoughts on the Formula

Iv had mixed reactions in the past with the regular Inglot lipsticks in tubes. I remember particularly disliking the Inglot Matte Lipsticks, but this one is completely different. It is quite creamy, well pigmented and glides on with utmost ease…despite drying to a semi-matte finish.  You need about one to one and a half swipe for opaque coverage and a soft, matte look. While i cant call this moisturizing, it also does not dry out my lips like other semi-matte lipsticks can,   and it lasts for about 5 hours on me with some fading. All in all, these are comfortable to wear and apply and quite a steal for the price they retail at.

PS: if you are more curious about that gorgeous coral color next to this in the palette click here

Recommendation :A

Product:4.5/5, Pigmentation:4/5, Texture:4.5/5, Longevity:4/5, Value & Packaging:4/5 (High on value, low on packaging)

Price: Rs 250 for a pan

Recommendation: Inglot Lipstick 51 is a pretty, neutral rose pink that is a really flattering color, specially for warm, light to medium toned girls, though it may wash out darker skin tones.. Im a big fan of the Inglot Freedom System Lipsticks, while i miss the joy of swiveling up my lipstick  and the palette is a bit annoying to handle, these are really nice and creamy, well pigmented and non drying. Specially since they dry to a semi-matte finish, i quite like how they still have a creamy texture!

That is a pretty colour and looks great on you! But being the orange freak that I am, I was more attracted to the coraly colour next to it. LOL!

thats a sweet colour!! pretty pink is what i’d name it to save it from spanking (not that innovative I know, but it’ll save it from spank)

Whoa girl you are getting in to serious S&M turf with those poor lippies!! I love this shade though I don’t think it’ll work well on duskier gals, I have number 50 and that washes me out, so if Inglot has numbered similar shades in a sequence I’m guessing this would be too light for me :(

mehak March 29, 2012 at 11:28 pm

Yah thats what i thought..this is darker than 50, but i can imagine it being too light and washing out for duskier girls..

sahar March 29, 2012 at 11:11 pm

lol..i was abt to ask abt the peach colour before u mentioned….just 1 doubt..its a matte lipstick,do we need a lipbalm under this?

mehak March 30, 2012 at 10:30 am

No you dont ! They dont dry your lips out unless your lips are already very chapped..

Embellished March 30, 2012 at 1:23 am

Is is very different in the swatch and when on. But it’s pretty anyway.

Parita March 30, 2012 at 2:47 pm

its a gorgeous you think it’ll suit nc42 skin tone?

mehak March 30, 2012 at 2:52 pm

Hmmm…it should, but i ws suggest u test it in store. Im NC40 and its nice on me, but duskier it might wash out..
