This eyeshadow may be bronze, but I’m all black and blue because of it! See, i was exiting one mall to go to the connecting one just to buy Mac Bronze Eyeshadow and SPLAT!!! I walked into a glass door..HARD! Im talking full on collision that broke my shoes and injured my teeth. Infact if you go to DLF Promenade Mall and see an imprint of lips on a glass door- that was me giving the door a full powered kiss as i smacked into it – ooh and if you wonder what pretty lipstick adorns that glass door-its Viva Glam Cyndi ;p. For what its worth though, i would walk into a glass door again just to have Mac Bronze Eyeshadow in my stash. Its just so darn bee-yoo-ti-ful!
Mac Bronze Eyeshadow is…well..bronze. A very pretty bronze actually- a molten golden brown with shimmer and is just a stunning, stunning color for outer corners , or even as an all over lid color if you are of a darker skin tone. Its one of my favourite mac eyeshadows and one that i love to pair with Indian outfits, using it with woodwinked or expensive pink.
For me, Mac Bronze defines what i call a “luxuriously rich” eyeshadow- the minute your finger hits the pan, its just intensely smooth, dark and pigmented. It just seems to melt like butter on touch and can be blended with such ease, it makes you feel like Picasso or something. One swipe with even the cheapest of brushes and you get gorgeous vivid color on your eyelid! You also dont turn into a glitter monkey , because it has surprisingly little fallout given that it is a frost finish eyeshadow.
PS: Im fine now, except for a little bump on my head that i have named Rudolf! Honestly, when i look back at it now it was quite comical…how could i walk into a glass door!!!!
Overall Verdict: A+
Price: Rs 680 in refill form
Recommendation: Mac Bronze has got to be one of my absolute favourite eyeshadows – a stunning golden bronze with shimmer that looks great with indian wear. Its superbly pigmented, rich, and soft and buttery to blend ! Dream Shadow that!
