La-la-la…Thats what Spring does to me. “La-la-la-la-la-la-la”. I want to see floral prints, and soft pastels everywhere, its kind of like the season of prettiness me thinks! Though one area where i am woefully short in pastels is makeup. Lets face it, that pale pink eyeshadow dont look good on us brown girls dude . (PS: Punjabi music fans- have you heard “Brown rang” yet?). Anyway so im left with nail polishes to experiment with my pastel passion this season. Here are the only 4 pastel polishes i actually own (Im a very bright pink- bright red kind of girl usually).
See how that Lakme Yellow Nail Polish is peeping out from behind as if to say “Whats up doc? Im not really pastel ya know”. Well, i know , but for sake of completeness i added a yellow polish to this. You know what i really want though- a nice pastel purple. Something like OPI Rumples Wigging. How gorgeous is that ? hmmm *goes off to count cash in wallet*
OPI Sweetheart
OPI Sweetheart Nail Polish is a really pale, milky , barely there pink. Its my favourite ‘work’ nail polish because it looks pretty , but still office appropriate and not very boring either. I do have application issues with this, it goes on more streaky than the other OPI polishes do, but its such a nice , soft pink that i think looks good even on really dark hands! If you are looking for a dupe for OPI Sweetheart then Maybelline Colorama Astral is a good one!
Orly Mint Mojito
Orly Mint Mojito is a total cutieee!!! Its a mint blue-green and totally fab in spring. This is the polish i had on in most of Goa!
My cheapest pastel nail polish, my unnamed Flormar polish which i like to call my Smurfy nail polish for obvious reasons. I smurfin love the pastel blue-ness!
OPI Coney ISland Cotton Candy
OPI Coney Island Cotton is my favourite nude nail polish eva! Its like a soft peachy, bsicuit color and even though it just looks ‘my nails but better’, i totally love it as a change from all those summer brights.
All thats left is a nice pale yellow one, and a nice lavender one- OPI Rumples Wiggin, i wana Chiggin-wiggin with you boy!

they dont chip for a week on me, but honestly 520 bucks is a LOT of money for nail polish. You can save and go for colorbar f you wish. I actually prefer Zoya, which does chip from the tips but the colors r more unique..
I have been obsessing over that mint shade for a while now! Still haven’t got a chance to own one yet
