Aroma Magic peppermint Exfol Gel-Exfoliating & Blackhead Removal Gel

Guest Review by CSP Ballal (Light Skin tone, Normal – dry skin)

This gentle formula contains AHA, a multi fruit acid mixture that eliminates dead surface cells, black heads and fine lines uncovering smoother and softer skin. Your skin will look amazingly revitalized in just one day.

Directions to use: Apply onto face and leave it on for 10 minutes. Gently massage it off. Rinse thereafter.

Active ingredients: Extracts of Sage, Cornflower, Sugarcane, Apple, Grapes, and pure essential oils of Peppermint, orange and Lavender.

My take on Aroma Magic peppermint Exfol Gel-Exfoliating & Blackhead Removal Gel:

This Aroma Magic Gel is a clear gel like liquid that claims exfoliate and remove blackheads. The cute baby pink packaging is tempting enough to purchase this, let alone the high claims of the product!   As instructed, once you apply and leave this product on your face  for about 10 minutes on the skin, the product  evaporates and there is slightly sticky feel on the skin. Ofcourse, this vanishes when you wash it off with water ..the gel comes off easily and the sticky feeling goes away leaving behind fresh, clean and rejuvenated  skin.

The gel however is not useful in removing blackheads  or  dead skin. It does not scrub out the unwanted elements from the skin, and does not act like a traditional exfoliater should- in fact it doesn’t really have those grains that are essential in an exfoliator . Essentially this is a product  that can be used as just an ordinary gel to massage the face for few minutes and wash off. Apart from leaving back a nice peppermint smell,  and a clean fresh feeling it does not do much of what it claims.

Overall, Aroma Magic peppermint Exfol Gel-Exfoliating & Black head Removal Gel is not a solution for blackheads and dead skin removing.

Rating: B-

Price: Rs 60 for 60 ml bottle.

Recommendation:  The Aroma Magic Peppermint Exfoliating gel  is not a product that does what it claims. If you are not looking for a solution to your blackhead in this gel, then you may   try this product as an ordinary gel product for a temporary rejuvenating feel.

At first I thought may be this could be my thing because my skin breaks out with most scrubs. But since it does do nothing, no point .
Thanks for the review. Would steer clear
