Claims about Biotique Bio Walnut Purifying & Polishing Scrub: This exfoliating scrub is blended with pure walnut oil, rich in vitamin A and lecithin, extracts of neem, mint, fenugreek and red sandalwood to purify and polish skin texture. Sweeps away dry lines and leaves skin smooth, soft and spotlessly refreshed. Skin becomes more receptive to the benefits of future treatment.

To use: Massage on wet face and neck with fingertips. Avoid eye area. Rinse with water or damp wash cloth. Use daily or as needed.

My take on Biotique Bio Walnut Purifying & Polishing Scrub:

Biotique Bio Walnut Purifying & Polishing Scrub comes in the standard Biotique  plastic tub with a  screw on  cap. The base of the scrub is very creamy which has very small brown colored scrub granules. These granules are neither very sharp nor very soft. They are made just perfect for exfoliation to make the skin breathe healthy. Since the granules are not very soft, they cannot be used as a daily scrub, specially if you have delicate skin. This is more of a once in a while scrub!!. The product makes a decent body scrub too. Very efficient in making the elbow and knee joint soft. The dead skin simply vanishes off on using this scrub, and you can see visibly fresher skin!

The scent of Biotique Bio Walnut Scrub is not fruity or flowery. It is not that girly kind of scent that we girls always expect from all skin products. It has a smell that reminds me of ayurvedic formula. So, this proves that the product is skin friendly with all herbal ingredients.

The company should seriously think of changing the packaging style to keep up with the competition. Or at least please provide a spatula along with the tub. Apart from the packaging issue, I have nothing to complain about this walnut scrub. The term walnut usually gives me an idea of harsh granules. But surprisingly this walnut scrub has not so harsh granules.

Rating: B+

Price: Rs. 199 for 50 g

Recommendation: This one is a nice scrub from Biotique- neither too soft neither too harsh. I use it as a body scrub and it instantly leavs my elbows and knees soft and supple. You can also use this on the face, and the dead skin just scrubs off leaving behinf fresher skin ..however because the granules are not very soft i wouldnt recommend daily use of this on the face specially if you have sensitive skin. Not a fan of the tub packaging though!

I love reading your blogs Mahek… Though I don’t like using too much of beauty products nevertheless I love your style of writing… But I do buy some products that you recommend now and then. Keep up the good work.. Cheerio..!!!
