Freeman Peppermint Plum Foot Lotion Review

Guest Post  by Kritika

Do you know there exists a natural copper infused pillowcase to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow’s feet around one’s eyes and improve the skin’s overall appearance while you sleep? There is also a concealer for feet, which not only  covers up abrasions, age spots, discolorations, tan lines, scars, corns and veins, but is, sweat-proof, smudge-proof AND waterproof. Woah. Now that is something. One such interesting product is the, ‘Peppermint & Plum Soothing Liquid Foot Powder’ by Freeman. Strange, is it not? To have the words, ‘liquid’ and ‘powder’ in the same sentence. Is it a powder? Is it a lotion? Let’s just call it, The powtion. Haha :P (Editors Note: haha …a powwwtion , i can just imagine saying that with an accent- a powh-tion)

Freeman Says: This soothing liquid foot powder is a unique formula starts as a lotion to soften your feet and transforms into a light silky powder to keep feet comfortable and refreshed.  Extracts of Plum and Peppermint energize.

Review of Freeman Peppermint & Plum Soothing Liquid Foot Powder

So this interesting little product from Freeman starts out as lotion and once you apply it to your foot, you let it dry for about ten to twenty seconds and it forms a soft silky layer of dry powder on the skin. Unlike regular powders, it doesn’t make a mess and gets white powder all over everything. The powder dries on the foot and stays put unless you decide to walk barefoot on a rug or the red carpet. It leaves a white layer of powder on the feet to which I think I’ve found a solution to some extent. Which is, to massage it in till it dries out so that it doesn’t just sit on top of your feet. Another thing that affects the formation of that white layer of powder is the amount you apply on your feet. If you take a lot of the product, it has more chances of leaving that white cast on your feet. I loved using it in winters when I would wear boots every day and hated the feeling regular lotions would give me. You know that slimy socks feeling? Ew much? This lotion – powtion kept my feet soft and dry and the odour at bay. Now that summers are here, I use it only on the soles of my feet and between my toes because I wear flats and sandals and don’t want any of the white powder to show. Technically, it’s not something you should wear with open footwear unless you can combat the powder that shows but I just can’t stop using it so I just apply my sunscreen on the portion of my feet that actually shows through the shoe. Cheat code :P

It has a really fruity-minty smell. The plum extracts and the peppermint oil gives your feet a nice fresh tingle which doesn’t last too long. The Peppermint Oil is also supposed to soothe and relax your feet. The smell lasts for about  good  5 – 6 hours

This Liquid Foot Powder by Freeman is for you, if..

  • You wear closed shoes a lot and want something to keep your feet dry and soft or you go to the gym or exercise wearing sneakers and hate the super sweaty feeling.
  • You don’t know what to put on your feet in summers because lotions give you that slimy feeling and powders don’t work too well.
  • You want your feet to smell great at all time.
  • You hate the thought of applying lotion on your feet in summers

This isn’t really for you, if..

  • You don’t like using anything on your feet
  • You want something that is extremely moisturizing
  • You only wear open sandals and can’t deal with the sight of tiny winy layer of whitish powder
  • You want something with SPF. This has no SPF, bummer !!

I also think this is a great product for the boys in your life. They wear those closed shoes and socks all the time and I can’t imagine how their poor feet even breathe. If you plan on getting this and making a guy try this out, lemme know what did he have to say about the fruity smell. Lol. But apart from that, I’m sure boys will love it too.

Overall Verdict: B+

Price: Rs.220 for 150ml of Qty

 Will I repurchase: I will.

Recommendation: The Freeman Peppermint Plum Soothing Foot Powder Applies like a lotion but wraps your feet in a silky blanket of superfine powder keeping your feet soft, dry and smelling all fruity and sweet for almost 5 hours. Definitely recommended if you wear closed shoes, if you don’t then get it if you can use it with above mentioned cheat codes :P

I use the peppermint and plum foot lotion by Freeman. And I love it! I was confused over the balm, lotion and this powder lotion. I chose the lotion because I wanted something moisturising and something that would rid off the odour! I am on my feel through the day and run around a lot. So my feet have a tendency of sweating and the smell is not so pleasant. So after a nice washing off the feet before I sleep, I apply this lotion and my feet are soft in the morning and the fragrance is retained! I love the tingly sensation caused by the peppermint! Soothes my tired sole and heels! I am thinking of using this after my shower in the morning for a pleasant smell through the day! My feet are very dry so it absorbs all the moisture and does not feel too slippery! But maybe I might try this liquid powder next time! But I will definitely repurchase something from this range itself! Love love it! :)
