Here is what some of our favourite Bollywood Celebrities wore to the IIFA Awards 2012 ! I thought overall the ‘green carpet’this year was a slight let down. I didnt jump and out say “OMGHHKP She looks amazing!!” too many times. Everyone looked just about nice, barring the few usual suspects of course. (Im looking at you Parineeti Chopra!)
Priyanka Chopra arrived at the IIFA Awards 2012 in a blush pink Dolce and Gabbana! It was soft, ethereal and floaty and i quite loved it – a welcome relief from her usual style. You know what didnt change though? The ultra matte makeup and the brown lips. Hello???PC- Why you NO wear gloss?
Sameera Reddy was in a black number, which i thought would have looked a lot better had the hair not been so severe. Plus when yoou know you are wearing a black gown, through which your footwear will be seen, why wear plain black pumps?
Preity Zinta was in a bright pink Ramona Narag gown. Me thinks she looked quite pretty!
I thought Kalki Koechlin totally killed it in her Victoria Beckham dress. The fit, the classic style, the simple black band at the waist- all very subtle but the look bought together really worked!
IIFA Awards 2012 Best Debutante Winner Parineeta Chopra in Jatin Vohra Gown.Im sorry Parineeti, but this just looks like a big blown up camping tent. Maybe she wanted to make sure she had somewhere to hide all her awards lest it rains!
Dia Mirza kept it simple at IIFA 2012. She wore a white banarsi saree (By the way i saw a VERY similar saree in shaded pink and red at this store called Raisons. It was gorgeous and i almost picked it up but i let it go the last minute). I liked the saree, i didnt love the jewellery with it.
I saw this photo of Dia at the IIFA 2012 Rocks event before the awards and i LOVED it ! Such a pretty, young, girly look.
Chitrangada Singh went all bronze goddess in a corseted dress at IIFA 2012 . I would have liked the hair a bit different with this.
Raveena Tandon stuck to her usual blingy style at IIFA Awards 2012. This is more -sisters marriage, and less IIFA Awards dont you think?
Gauhar Khan walked the IIFA red Caroet in a metallic number. Had this been a mini, i thought it would have been a total knockout.

I think kalki looks best!priyanka looks good too and I think she skips gloss cause her already unusually fat lips will look more fat!And yes pareeniti needs to hire a good stylist!

I think Ms Chopra sort of formed her makeup style in the late 90s-early 00s, so matte foundation, brown lipstick, and too much hairspray (classic Miss India look at the time). I have to admit, it does look pretty good on her and hey, at least she left the clothes behind. I don’t think I could cope if she kept wearing enormous plaid shirts, and dresses over pants.
I like Gauhar Khan’s look! She looks like a Desi Maleficent, with her Epaulets of Doom.
And Parineeti Chopra’s dress was last seen guarding a toilet roll at my gran’s.
Seriously, just google ‘toilet paper doll’.

I too think Kalki looks the best here. Dia looks very refreshing too, specially in that second picture. As for Parineeti…I admit the dress is a little ugh but I like this girl so much that she kinda looks good to me no matter what she wears !
