Inglot AMC Matte Gel Liner Review : No.87

Guest Post by Ria (Combination Skin, Medium skin tone)

I love wearing colored eyeliners to add an oomph factor and Inglot AMC Matte Gel eyeliner has 20 shades to choose from., so i thought i need atleast one of those 20 gorgeous shades. From basic colors like brown, black & white to yellow, pink, green, teal, eggplant. Inglot has it all. The eyeliner that I have is no. 87. (Why do they give numbers to their products instead of naming them?)

Inglot Claims : “Long-lasting, waterproof formula. Can be used as an eye shadow or body painting gel. Brush number 30T is recommended for eyeliner application. PARABEN FREE FORMULA. It costs Rs 680/- for 5.5 grams of product. One tub and you are set for life.

Inglot AMC Matte Gel Liner shade no 87 is a  gorgeous teal color that just slightly leans towards the blue family a bit more. This looks so beautiful on the eyes and the matte finish on this is a perfect balance to the glittery eyeshadows that I generally favor. It easily lasts more than 10 hours on me and that also on the waterline as it is waterproof.

The Inglot AMC Matte Gel Liner  comes in small transparent plastic tubs with screw lid top and looks  rather cute. These gel liners are extremely emollient and have a very creamy formula. The smooth texture glides on the eyes without any pulling or tugging. One dip with the brush and you can line the entire upper lid and also the waterline. It takes 10 seconds to dry and then no amount of rubbing will make it go away. But it gets easily removed with a good quality remover. These can also be used as eyeshadow but I have never tried it as one. Also all the gel liners has a matte finish.

It has never looked flaky on me though the testers at the store were totally dried up and the SA was using Inglot Duraline, which was a bit of a warning sign for me but after 4 months of purchase, I have not noticed any drying up of the product.

Also its half the price of MAC fluidline and you get almost double the product. So I would say its total value for money.

Pros-

  • Very creamy formula
  • Applies easily without any tugging or pulling
  • Lasts very long even on the waterline
  • Does not smudge
  • Does not look flaky
  • Value for money for the quantity given.

Cons-

  • Dries up after some time.

Rating- A

Price– Rs 680 for 5.5 gm

Availablity- Inglot stores and also at www.shopatmajorbrands.com

Recommendation Inglot AMC Matte Gel Liner comes in 20 shades and its silky smooth, incredible pigmented and waterproof. 87 is a beautiful blueish teal that looks gorgeous on the eyes when pared with shimmery eyeshadows!
