Loreal Paris Burning Sunset Lipstick

If all the Loreal Paris  Lipsticks were movie stars, then Burning Sunset would be the item number !!! Its got all the recipes of a classic item number-red hot, with a generous dose of shimmer and nothing quite so subtle about it. Actually i cant decide whether Burning Sunset would be the item number or be the bold indian bride in the movie because its an appropriate color for both!! But If shimmer is your thing, then Burning Sunset is your new, hot, best friend.

L’Oreal Paris Claims: Let’s get intense with dare to wear colour! Introducing new L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Made For Me Intense lip colour. Made to match, true to life colours. Intense color with lasting hydration for an ultra-glamorous look.- Soft and creamy texture leaves lips feeling moisturized smooth with a stunning finish.

Burning Sunset : The Color

Loreal Paris Accord Intense Lipstick in Burning Sunset (launched in the Loreal Lor Electric Collection) is a fiery orange red with bits of gold and silver shimmer that impart an almost rust colored look to it. Its a lipstick you would wear if you really want to make those heads turn! Because of the orange-ness in it, its a color that works really well with warm indian skin tones so if you have been on the lookout for a red lipstick with a punch  then Burning Sunset is a pretty great option for you! The shimmer is definitely noticeable so non shimmer fans may cringe though.

General Thoughts on Loreal Paris Intense Lipsticks

These Loreal lipsticks have good solid pigmentation (2 coats to opaque) with rich intense color payoff  so those with pigmented lips will enjoy as it covers up all discolorations nicely without being heavy on the lips ! They glide really easily across the lips , inspite of not being particularly creamy and  they dont dry your lips either . In fact these are quite moisturizing to wear and the light weight quality is a welcome relief in summer! They wear an average time of about 3.5 to 4 hours on my lips, but the shimmer does feel just slightly gritty when you rub your lips and as usual they leave behind traces of shimmer stuck to my lips which really, i do not like! (I swear, i get so annoyed when i find a shimmer particle thats travelled to my eyebrow- i have no idea how it travels all the way up there!). Its like my brows are shimmer magnets!

Can i also add that the packaging is really super classy, im loving the whole gold/silver casing -its very high end looking! The lipstick inside by the way are really soft, so be gentle!

Verdict: 3.5/5 or B+

Product: 4/5 ,Pigmentation:4/5, Texture:3.5/5, Longevity :3.5/5, Packaging: 4.5/5

Price : Rs 720/-

Recommendation: Loreal Paris Burning Sunset is a fiery orange red with gold shimmer  and a high shine, plumped finish that  is guaranteed to turn heads. I honestly did not expect to like this lipstick (since im a shimmer hater)  but i really  did  and i think it quite flattered my skin tone!!! I found the Loreal Accord Intense lipsticks to be very well pigmented, moisturizing, and lightweight  . I got just about average wear time and I would have really preferred if the shimmer didnt feel so gritty.

It is too shimmery so I am not a huge fan but would check out other shades!
