Streetwear Perfect Definition Eyeliner in Blue

Guest Post by CSP Ballal (Light Skin tone, Dry Skin)

Streetwear Claims “Smudge proof and fade proof. Nice bristles that border your eyes finely in a quick smooth swipe. The make-over leaves you looking like a nymph with those sharp seductive eyes!”

My Review

I am new to the world of blue eyeliners, preferring to stay in my safey zone of brown and blacks! So before i went and unloaded my wallet on blue-green-red-white Eyeliners, i thought it best to start cheap so  Street Wear Perfect Definition Eyeliner in Blue was a best choice for a beginner wanting to experiment with colorful eyeliners like me.

I had read bad reviews about this eyeliner, stating that it is not long lasting, chips off simply even without touching it, and blah blah blah……Yet, I bought this owing to its price just to experiment with the shade.  Surprisingly I found this eyeliner performing very well. Below are a few swatches, without and after fading.

Fresh look: Streetwear Perfect Definition Eyeliner applied in the evening on the first day. Faces Kajal on the water line and outer corner of the lower lash line.

Faded look: Next day morning , after bath. Kajal on the lower lash line smudged heavily. Cleansed off with wet cotton.

I thought the staying power was pretty great, but this could be due to my dry skin- those with oily skin may feel differently as i have read reviews of those with oily lids complaining of this smudging. I applied in the evening at around 4:00. It dint move even a millimeter from how I had applied as long as I was awake. I slept at around 11:00 in the night.  Next morning the liner had faded and cracked near the outer corner of my eyes.

The packaging is typical Street Wear style of packaging. A square cut class bottle (the same like their nail polish bottles) with a round plastic cap. The cap has a thin brush applicator. Hairs on the brush cling together to draw the thinnest line. The texture of this eyeliner is a little watery which is a bit of a bummer, but two or three  strokes will give a nice pigmented blue.

Well, for the price it available at, and owing to its staying power on my eyelids,  i am pretty happy with this but Opinions differ. Im keeping in mind how affordable this one is,  and then giving the score!

Rating: B+

Price: Rs.60

Recommendation: The streetwear perfect definition eyeliner is a bright , matte royal blue liner that is super duper affordable. For the price, i thought this is a great deal even though the consistency is a bit watery!! I found that this lasted well on my dry lids, but if you do have oily lids i suggest you play with this first

Oh I wish we still got Streetwear in the US. They had some of the best and most fun products. It was kind of like Urban Decay, but much more affordable. I don’t know why Revlon stopped selling it here!?
