Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin: Review

Guest Post by Swastika

I got obsessed with the brand Urban Decay from the time I saw their Naked palette and then some friend suggested me that I should try their Eyeshadow primer. I have oily lids so shadows don’t last long on me..so I have been hunting for a perfect eye shadow primer for a while now. I had almost zeroed in on a MAC paintpot when I happened to try this Urban Decay Primer Potion and it was love lust at first sight. You know the typical Bollywood stories? The girl agrees for an arranged marriage and then falls in love? My case was that! I call this my  genie in a tube…two in one action..works as a stunning eye shadow on its own and also acts as a solid base making my eyeshadow last from morning 8 to 11 in the night!

The website claims: Our # 1 best-selling product in a NEW easy-to-squeeze tube! Apply before your eyeshadow for more vibrant CREASE-FREE color that lasts for 24 hours. This is it – THE most legendary primer in the beauty industry. Eyeshadow Primer Potion is coveted by makeup artists and makeup junkies alike because it guarantees more vibrant eyeshadow that lasts for 24 hours and NEVER CREASES! Once you experience its powers (plus how smoothly it glides on – an added bonus) you’ll never want to live without it. Original formula dries down invisibly, while Eden, Sin and Greed are shades that can also be worn as shadows or highlighters! Now this extraordinary elixir comes in an easy-to-squeeze tube so you can control how much you apply.

Packaging –  I hate dipping in and out of tubs with my fingers (MAC paintpot I am talking to you) and have read very bad reviews of UD Eyeshadow primer’s bottle packaging earlier. If I had to summarize this new packaging in 2 words, it would be – Total love! The quantity that comes out is just right. I also love how it looks..it looks like it could have a place of pride in a Queen’s vanity! All gold, purple and royal looking.

Color – The color sin can be described as a champagne gold when blended. It can give a nice sheen to the eyeshadows and makes them POP. It goes very well with our Indian skin tones I think.

Longevity: This elongates the wear of eyeshadows by a substantial amount so you can have pretty peepers all day,, and i didnt notice any creasing either!

Verdict: A

Price –14 Pound (INR 1200 approx.)

Recommendation: Girls if you get your hands on this Urban Decay Primer Potion, snag it up the very moment. UDPP is HGproduct for many. They are loved by makeup artists and beauty bloggers alike and I cant say I agree more with them. The color sin is gorgeous on our Indian skin tones and they deliver what they promise – crease free , hours of eye shadow wear.

Has anyone tried the primer with Naked / Naked 2 eyeshadow??
Coz although I love the Naked 2 pallette that I have, logitivity is a big problem. My Nyx Eye shadow primer doesnt seem to work. It barely lasts a few hours.
Suggestions girls!!
