Wella High Hair Sleek Wonder
Guest Review by Ria
I like to straighten my hair with a straightener almost everyday and sometimes just blow dry straight. I end up buying any products that I come across that might help me in this. So when I had to get my hair straightened for a function in a salon and I saw the stylist using this, I had to get it.
Description- Wella High Hair Sleek Wonder is a light control straightening cream that works to give a sleek, glossy finish. This cream tames the hair from root to tip, even at high humidity levels and smoothes away frizz for a shiny finish. The pro-vitamin B5 enriched formula also has added UV filters for heat protection.Straightening cream to tame all hair textures from roots to ends even when exposed to high humidity. Provides light control and protects the hair from the heat of the hairdryer. Creates a long-lasting straight look until the next shampoo. Apply sleek wonder into damp hair in sections and comb through. Blow-dry, smoothing out each section.
Review
The Wella High Hair Sleek Wonder is supposed to be used when your hair is wet and only when you are blow drying your hair and not when using an iron. I got this with a hope to achieve a more groomed and straight look. I spray this to my hair in sections and then blow dry my hair using a paddle brush. Sometimes if I need a more sleek look I use my iron afterwards.
I will not say that this is a miracle product but it sure makes my work much easier. It is very easy to achieve a straight look with this and the effect lasts longer than it usually did before . But it is also very easy to spray more than the required amount and then what we get is not glossy look but a lifeless and dull look. So be careful with how much you pump out !!
It adds shine to the hair and even though it is not the best out there but its definitely not the worst either
Pros-
- Really gives salon type results.
- My hair looked straighter with this product
- My hair felt soft and they were shiny
- Blow Dry Effect lasts longer
Cons-
- Too much of this product makes hair look dull and lifeless.
- The bottle is not transparent so no way to know how much product is left.
Rating- B+
Price- I paid Rs 450/- for 100 ml
Availability- in Salons that stock wella products
Recommendation- The Wella High Hair Sleek Wonder is a product that is supposed to be used along with a blow dry and it works well for a sleek and glossy finish , and ensuring that your blow dry lasts longer than usual.Too much of this can make your hair limp though so be careful of how much you apply. Not a “WOW’ product, but definitely one that does its job and gives that salon type smooth and straight look to blow dries.

100 ml for 450 is not a bad idea, but my hair is like a dog-tail. Always refuses to remain straight how much I iron or flat or blow dry.
