Loreal Paris Color Riche Vernis 204

What was supposed to be a casual gossip session with my sister yesterday , turned into a rather english tea date with her. She came over bearing some things from the bakery, and as we sipped on green tea and stuffed our tummies with bannoffee pie and buttered scones we both felt rather english and propah!!! So Loreal Color Riche Vernis 204 was an easy choice when she said she needed to change her polish- its just such a pretty, innocent english rose color !!

I have to admit, in the bottle i looked at it and though *meh*. Nothing overly exciting you know- but once its on its just the most beautiful, soft, salmon pink that i cant get enough of. Very English you know! Iv not always been a fan of Loreal Nail color -i was pretty bummed with the Loreal Navy Velvet i tried once but this one is nothing like that. It is buttery smooth, streak free and a breeze to apply. I actually LOVE the brush it comes with because it spreads so evenly and easily since its wider than other brushes. I can do my nails in one stroke literally-which mean a super smooth finish! Apparently it has some “Diamond Reflexion Complex” which is supposed to give you pure, intense color and i can vouch that whatever that Diamond Thing is – its doing its job. This is very pigmented and two coats is the maximum i needed.

Its decently long lasting- i saw some tip wear by  Day 2 but overall it wore well for 4 days for me which is pretty good for a nail polish . I definitely cant wait to try out the other shades as well- my only gripe is that the bottle is really tiny. I could almost see the liquid level going lower after one coat so i dont know how long before it runs out !

Loreal Color Riche Vernis 204 Swatch with flash

Overall Verdict: A-

Price: Rs 225/- for 5 ml

Recommendation: Love this color in the Loreal Color Riche Vernis range- soft, peachy salmon pink. Makes work wear nails fun and a breeze to apply. I really liked the consistency and texture of these polishes . They were pigmented, streak free, had a super awesome brush with good width, and overall delivered good sheen. Very tiny quantity though!
