All I knew until a few months ago was that lotus herbals was only into skin care products.  I never knew that Lotus herbals was into cosmetics too until I discovered it at one of the counters in Health and glow stores. I decided to explore the range and picked up this one Lotus Herbals  Floral Stay 412 Pristine Maroon. Though the name says maroon..its more of dark  earthy brown shade.

Lotus Herbal says: – Long lasting lip color enriched with botanical extracts of Aloe Vera and Avocado. It lasts for hours with zero touch-ups. The SFP-10 formula provides complete protection from UV rays, preventing darkening of lips.

My experience with Lotus Herbals  Floral Stay 412 Pristine Maroon:

I quite loved the packaging of this lipstick is a beautiful pink with some floral patterns and that was the reason why I preferred picking up this one among the various Lotus herbals lipstick.  The colour is a beautiful brown with light maroon undertones. The colour is quite intense and shows up well in 2 swipes. The lipstick though matte is not very dry and does not bleed or settle between lines. I am already on my second one in this so you can imagine how much I like it.

When in doubt about which lipstick to match with a dress.. I generally prefer picking browns . This one has been my savior  many times. The finishing it gives is just perfect and brightenes up my face instantly. I prefer to keep this one in my purse always and is quite useful and decent for office wears too.

What I like about  Lotus Herbals  Floral Stay 412 Pristine Maroon.

• Beautiful and sleek packaging
• Odourless
• Price is reasonable
• Does not settle in between lines
• Pigmentation is great and colour is buildable with 2-3 swipes
• Does not bleed and stays intact for a decent 4-5 hours without food or drinks

What I  dislike about Lotus Herbals  Floral Stay 412 Pristine Maroon.

• Texture is matte  and not very moisturizing

Recommendations:  The Lotus Herbals FLoral Stay Lipstick in Pristine Maroon, is more of an earthy everyday brown than maroon that will really suit a lot of Indian skin tones. This isnt a dull brown that will flatten you, but a nice one that actually lends brightness and warmth to the face
