My Views:

Finally Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm has hit the Indian Market! Yay! But I wonder why such “hush-hush” launch by Maybelline this time! Remember when they launched their BB Cream? There print ad was everywhere possible on the streets, magazines, online etc. I already love their old lip balms and still use them but the ones I have are tinted. I wanted to have a lip balm which I can use only for moisturizing and renewing the chapped lips hence I picked up the non-tinted version in Mango Pie.

How cute is the packaging! Pink & Yellow – So girly! It looks simply adorable. Mango Pie is a colourless and flavourless Lip Balm. It gives a light sheen glossy look to the lips. The fragrance is that of Mango and it is not very strong or nauseating. It lingers for a while and then it completely disappears. I really liked the Mango flavour and it is refreshing change from the strawberries, raspberries, berries, cherries & vanilla flavour lip balms we use!

The lip balm is very creamy and glides like a butter on the lips. It does not feel heavy or waxy on the lips. It is extremely light and very similar to Neutrogena Lip Balm I used few years ago. I have been using this lip balm for over a week now & it has pretty much taken care of dry chapped lips. It keeps my lips soft and supple for over 3-4 hours and then it needs a retouch. Since, it is working well on getting rid of flaky skin I prefer to use it in the night time. This lip balm contains SPF 20 which is another positive.

Pros of Maybelline Baby Lips

  1. Adorable pink & yellow packaging
  2. Keeps lips smooth & supple
  3. Helps in getting rid of dry chapped lips
  4. Amazing mango scent
  5. Moisturizes lips for 3-4 hours
  6. Price
  7. Available in 7 variants

Cons of Maybelline Baby Lips

Can’t think of any negatives!

 Verdict: A

Price: Rs 125 for 4 gms

Recommendation: Maybelline Baby Lips SPF 20 Lip Balm – Mango Pie is a flavourless & colorless lip balm which effectively sheds away roughness on the lips for supple, smooth and cushioned lips! Highly Recommended!

I got baby lips from the US last year but the packaging there is even cuter! I dont know why we always get different stuff here! I have the grape and its a nice balm but I dont like the smell too much.
