Palmolive Thermal Spa Skin Renewal Body Wash Review

One of the most annoying things about living with a man is that they find random things ‘too girly’ for them. Take for example my Olay Body Butter Ribbons Body Wash, . In the boys words “Nothing with the word ribbons will even come close to my body”. It is quite frustrating trying to tread the middle path to buy products that both of us can love (I mean hello, i dont want Axe Shower Gel in my bathroom ), but Palmolive Thermal Spa Body Wash in this Crushed Coconut flavour is SO amazing, both of us cannot get enough of it.

First of , let me tell you how it smells. It smells like you have entered a cupcake shop, and the baker is putting vanilla frosting on top of a cupcake laced with shredded coconut. Ahhh. Its jusT DIVINE, and can give any Lush product a run for its money- THAT is how good it is! I feel like im immediately enveloped in this soft, warm, fuzzy cocoa butter fragrance and its really hard to let that go and get out of the shower- specially in winters you want that comforting, yummy, warm scent ! But even keeping the fragrance aside, this is one of the best body washes iv tried. The granules inside are the perfect level of abrasiveness for the  body and the thick creamy texture of the wash ensures that your body stays moisturized.

Another brilliant thing about this, is that the smell lingers on your arm even after your bath, so  don’t blame me if your arm is stuck to your nose after using this. Given how affordable this is, this is definitely A MUST BUY according to me!

Verdict: A+

Price: Rs 125 for 250 ml

Recommendation: If you want a body wash that smells absolutely heavenly, all warm and fuzzy and one that will ensure your bath times are longer then dont look further than Palmolive Thermal Spa Crushed Coconut Body Wash. It acta like a body scrub, and the creamy texture even moisturizez- amazing-ness in a very affordable bottle.

That seems like a good product mehak! But one quick question- why wouldn’t you have a axe body shower in your bathroom??? I mean if I have the chance I would give one full section to the guy just so that he doesn’t mess with my stuff and leave the lids of my products open ;)
But then, given a chance I would insist that the man use a different bathroom altogether, why not even a room- I mean men just mess with our stuff and then complain !!! Grrrrr

Our bathroom is really tiny, and the convenient shelf near the shower already has a ton of products so only space for one shower gel.
We do have two bathrooms in the house though, and now iv kind of conveniently shifted my stuff to the other one.

Oh you are so sweet! He should be so proud of you! Now I’m confused, if I were in your situation would I pick the better of the two bathrooms or the one attached to ye master bedroom…. Hmmm…what a quandary!!!

yes my dilemma exactly.the other bathroom is really big, with a huge shelf for everything, bt the convenience of master bedroom is tooo tempting…

okay, so just now at 10:20pm I literally speed walked towards my local market and bought this from my local chemist shop and quickly speed walked my way back home at this time of the hour lol. I have seen this everywhere but did not bothered to sniff it since I was busy using my current TBS strawberry shower gel but now its about to finish so I thought its best timing to get this one since Cynthia from IndianVanityCase and You now raving about this shower cream by Palmolive that i HAD to get it. First I thought lets order it online but then its a local product so I called my chemist shop and the man said that they had it so I told him that I will be there in 5mins lol. Plus, my dad was like WTH when I told him that I needed to go to the local store at this time of the hr lol.

I love You mehak <3. ( one of your many fan girl :p )

Wow. I so want to buy this body-wash.
But Mehak !!!! This has sodium laureth sulphate. Is it not supposed to be harmful chemical ingredient?

Butterfly October 2, 2012 at 11:23 pm

Hey Renu, Sodium laureth sulphate is okay. It’s the sodium lauryl sulphate you should steer clear from.

You should totally replace his Axe Shower Gel with this stuff, and see how he reacts. Just empty the bottle and refill it with the coconut body wash. That’s what I would do. :D

I am also currently using this and just LOVE it! I feel my skin feels quite silky after bath and don’t need to use moisturizer immediately.
But my husband doesn’t like the smell of this one and has bought himself something else. :D
