The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Dome Review : Crazy for Coral

My cute little Body Shop Lip & Cheek Dome : Say Hello to the Readers Cuttieeee pieeeeee !!! *Dome looks up at me, as if to say “Yr crazy woman”.  Maybe a little bit, but this round little chubby orange dome thingie is so cute its almost treated as a kid around the house “Good night Baby dome, Baby Dome-sleep in my bag. Dont touch my baby dome!! Dome de dom dom dom!”. Ha! Its kind of like an actual baby too- it looks all cute and chubby but isnt very useful to have around !  I mean it doesn’t really do anything.(No offense to babies, just saying they dont have any other job apart from looking cute!)

Body Shop Claims “Cream-to-powder colour for lips and cheeks that’s easy to wear and easy to blend.Wear it just as it is or under lip gloss. They’re limited edition so don’t miss out. Catch them while you can.

    • For lips and cheeks

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Dome Review : Crazy for Coral

Okay first things first- this  Lip and Cheek Dome in Çrazy for Coral is really a pale , pale peach cos honestly on my skintone it doesnt show up on the cheeks at all. It glistens a bit, as any cream product would on the cheek, but after i put this on you wouldnt be able to tell i have any blush on. For these reasons i feel this is most suited for the lighter skin girls- you know the ‘Esha’ category- lighter than NC/NW 30 on whome this would look pretty as a peach !!!! On my lips, again this is too light- it is like a very very nude peach which washes me out. Even apart from that, it has a grainy texture on the lips which isnt very flattering.

Apart from that this has a nice finish- it does have a cream to powder kind of texture, so even on the lips it kind of settles into a matte finish and gives a nice sheen on the cheeks without being extra glossy. It glides smoothly and it spreads evenly so you wont get splotchy cheeks with this on but it has extremely poor lasting ability. It takes all of one and a half hour at the max for this to slide off and it slips and moves around a fair bit-  and i have dry skin. I cant even imagine how it will fare on the oily skin girls!

Verdict: B-

Price: 875/-

Recommendation: The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Dome in Crazy for Coral is a very pale, light peach that will work best for ultra fair girls.  It doesnt show up at all on my wheatish NC 35 skin, so anyone darker than me can probably give this a skip and check out the Pinch me Pink shade. As a blush, this has a nice smooth finish and easy application but extremely poor lasting power- and this is on dry skin. It kind of moves and slips around on the cheek as well. On the lips, i think it doesnt work at all..

very sad that this blush doesn’t show that much of color and looks like its hardly there. Great review though ^_^.

I have the pink one and trust me – even its like a baby – does nothing other than looking cute (i really loved this comparison)

I have no idea why have they even launched it in India – yet to find someone who feels the cost is worth what they are giving…i wish I had got a body butter from them for this price

I saw these in the store the other day. The pigmentation is really poor for the price of it!
