Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation Review
Guest Post by Fizz & Lorr
I heard about this foundation first, from Lisa Eldridge, who I’m sure everyone has heard about. So I was really excited to try it out. It is supposed to be a long-wear, 16 hour foundation, with fruit extracts, including apricot, melon, apple and ginger that Bourjois claims are really good for your skin.
Coverage: Bourjois Healthy Mix gives me medium coverage, which is nice, and I like how it doesn’t look cakey or patchy on the skin. If you suffer from major blemishes, you may have to wear concealer though. But you can do without it too for minor blemishes, because it is buildable.
Shades available: I believe it’s available in 8 shades, so it’s not the best shade range for darker skin tones. I use shade 55, which is quite right for me after proper blending.
Packaging: The packaging is decent. I like that the foundation comes in a plastic bottle, not a glass one so it is travel-friendly. It has a pump so you can pump out just the right amount of product.
Texture: The product itself has a nice, smooth texture. It’s not heavy or thick, but at the same time its not like those runny foundations that are so difficult to work with.
Lasting Power: I’m not sure about the good-for-your-skin part, because I don’t use foundation every day. I tend to wear it only on special occasions. But when I do, I have to say it does last a long time (all night) on my combination skin.
I especially like this the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation because of the slightly dewy finish that it gives me. I hate it when foundations are drying or patchy and this foundation gives no such problems. It’s fairly lightweight so I think it will work really well as an everyday foundation. It even photographs well so it’s good if you’re planning on getting some pictures clicked.
Rating: A+
Price: Rs. 1120
Recommendation: The Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is definitely one i recommend because I love it so much. It’s the perfect dewy, lightweight foundation. It’s doesn’t cake up and leaves my skin looking and feeling amazing. I have used it on some of my friends with similar skin tones, but different skin types, and it looks fabulous on them too.

Me toooo!
I got this after suggested my Mehak . . . and luving it. easy to wear. and got a good shade for my skin. But not suitable for a hot sweaty day/evening. I sweat a lot (too much). Eventhough it didn’t disappoint me on a hot morning, it disappointed me on a hot night function. gave me a grey cast when taking a pic with flash.

I actually think this is great because its so light and breathable. It really shouldnt be a problem. But otherwise read this: Priyam has sensitive acne prone skin http://peachesandblush.com/2012/10/pb-panel-discusses-foundations-that-fare-well.html
Thanks Mehak!
Finally bought this one thanks to the great reviews on your blog..Being a ‘foundation virgin’ this is a big deal for me

I wanted to buy this. Medplusbeauty had this in lighter shades unsuitable for me.

Then I saw the 10 hour foundation and the internet told me that is good too… but when I ordered it, it was a bad experience. Anyway, medplus sorted it out but I still do not have a Bourjois product.
