Mac Cremesheen & Pearl Collection : Tiny Preview

in lipgloss, Lipsticks, MAC

I have two gorgeous products from the Mac Cremesheen & Pearl Collection, and they are all pink, and soft and fluffy with a teeny bit of sparkle!!! That’s actually what the whole collection is about, the softness and creaminess of the cremesheens with a  tiny bit of sparkle and shine to grace your lips. Plus who doesnt want a whole collection dedicated to lips huh?

First up is Mac Floating Lotus Cremesheen glass, which is a soft pastel pink with shimmer. With cremesheens that are in lighter colors like this, you do run the risk of them getting patchy and streaky and with this one as well, on intial application it looks uneven. But it settles down  eventually as a great layering lipglosss. WOnt recommend it to be worn alone by girls with pigmented lips though, too light for them! Full review shall follow soon.

*On pigmented lips, this wont look the pink its looking here. Its slightly sheerer than what the picture portrays

Next i have a lipstick called Sunny Seoul. I dont quite understand why this was named so, its more like Pale Paris or something to me. This one is a really pale, cloudy pink. The swatch may look sheer on the arm but it goes quite pigmented and is opaque in one coat. Strictly recommended for light skin tones, it will wash out anyone else. Full review coming soon as usual

Like any of the two pink lip products? Thoughts?

A tie, but leaning more towards the gloss. How does the shade fare on you?

Sunny Seoul for me. I would not spend so much on shimmer gloss when cheap dupes are easily available.

The Sunny Seoul swatch on your arm looks like it would make an amazing shade of blush. I’d much prefer it as that! So dreamy n light :)
