Lotus Herbals Winterberry Crush Seduction Lipgloss Swatches and Review
Guest Review by SKtribal
I have a love-hate relationship with lipsticks and lip glosses. I love how they add colour and life to a dull face but hate how they never last more than an hour or two on my lips. I’ve vented about this in an earlier post too but I really can’t get over how finding a long stay lipstick/gloss has become the all consuming goal of my life. No, it’s true. I love my eye makeup lots but not being able to find a good set of long wearing lip colours haunts my dreams. I have imaginary conversations with my lip colours where I pathetically ask them, “Why can’t you be longer wearing like my eye makeup you pretty coral lip gloss you?” When I see new lipstick/gloss/stain launches by different brands, my eyes glaze over and I stare into space wondering if my search has finally come to end and if I can finally leave behind my recurring nightmares and sleep in peace. In this quest to find my ideal lip colour, I’ve tested a lot of lipsticks and glosses from a lot of different brands. One of the products I tested was this lip gloss from Lotus- the Lotus Herbals Seduction Lip gloss in Winterberry Crush
In the tube, it looks like a orangey coral colour but on the lips it is more of a pretty coral pink that will look good on a myriad of skin tones. It is nicely pigmented, more so than most shades in this range. It is very smooth and easy to apply. All Lotus Herbals Seduction Lipglosses come packaged in a sleek plastic tube with a champagne-gold coloured top. It closes tightly and can be tossed into your bag without worrying about leaks.
The wear time is very average and what you’d expect from a drugstore lip gloss. When worn thickly it wears for about 2 hours without food or drinks. In the pictures, the shimmer is showing up very prominently, but on the lips, it really doesn’t show up at all. The tube holds 4.2ml of product and is priced nominally.
Rating: B+
Price: Rs 225
Final Recommendation:The Lotus Herbals Winterberry Crush Seduction Lipgloss is a decent inexpensive lip gloss. Texture and pigmentation are good while wear time is pretty average. Try it out if you like the gorgeous coral pink colour. Not much else to say about it.

Most of the glosses in this range are really sheer but this one is gorgeous
looks like an opaque-er version of MAC lychee luxe!

Hi, I think your life’s search for a long staying gorgeous lip gloss should end with Colorbar’s true lip gloss and if you are into corals, they have coral craving which is an amazing shade and reviews online will tell you that they last longer than any other glosses available today in the market.
Although the price is on the higher side, they are worth it. You should give it a shot.
Cheers!
Actually, I do have the Nectar Orange shade from the Colorbar true gloss range but it isn’t as long staying as I’d hoped. Also, it’s a little too bright for casual wear
ohhh this is such a pretty coral shade….Loved it!
