Its raining awards seasons ladies (Watch your head girls or a golden black statue might just knock you out!!). Here are how the Bollywood knockouts fared on what is considered to be the biggest night for the Indian Film Industry!!! From what i can tell, i think the pretty young things of B-town need to take a lesson or two from the older Stalwarths – clearly, Sridevi stole the show for me !
Chitrangada Singh sported a lovely Anand Kabra outfit for the awards. That side braid thingy is just genius and i think she looked lovely! (Except maybe her eyes are a bit tooo smokey here in the pic no?)
Okay, so a lot of people have been gushing over Deepika ‘s Look and i dont mean to be hater or anything, but im a fan of sheer fabrics in small doses. For eg: if this gown had been solid at the bottom with the sheer peek-a -boo things at the top, that would have been a super stunning look for me. I just dont think this Prabal Gurung gown is appropriate for filmfare awards. For a movie promo, sure ! But for a major event like Filmfare? I dunno not loving it !
Yawn. I get it. Vidya loves Sabya and i love Sabya too. But there are a ton of OTHER kind of Sabya lehengas and sarees that she can experiment with no? Im just bored of seeing the same thing, the same hair, the same jewellery over and over again!
Raveena stuck to a safe black and green sari for the awards. Nothing phenomenal, but atleast she didnt go her usual OTT way
Sridevi just knocked it right out of the park in an orange off shoulder Alberta Ferreti gown and a Judith Leiber clutch. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Priyanka was in Armani Prive. I dont know whether its the photographs, but that fabric and the detailing on the bust is looking a bit high school prom-tacky to me!
Madhuri was in a sequinned midnight blue number .
Urmila chose a bright pink Manish Malhotra anarkali and she looked lovely! nLove that lipstick on her- Mac Chattervbox?
Alia chose a Manish Malhotra lehenga. I feel like this is a great lehenga for a friends wedding function, wish she had gone more edgy for the awards !
Aditi Rao Hyderi went the gaurav gupta route in this Sari!
Anushka was in a super sexy yellow cowl neck gown for the awards ! i LOVE that she chose a color like yellow for the awards. She looks stunning !

Cn you please do u tutorial post on how to apply foundation using a brush. . . Like u mentioned even i have seen how awesme n flawless luk u get whn u apply it by brush. . . (it vl be additionaly helpful if u do it fr either of mac face n body foundation or TBS extra virgin mineral foundation as i own both of them)

My fav is definitely Sridevi and Anushka. Loved the outfit on Chitrangada but she looks so tired! And the raccoon eyes definitely not helping her

I really like Sridevi’s dress, but the front is a little strange (my only complaint). It’s folds over in a weird way.
I think Priyanka’s dress is too aqua-teal and too shiny. The color is already a standout shade, and the shiny fabric makes it blinding. I hate to bash the outfit, because I like her and I think she’s pretty.

I loved Anushka and Sri Devi and Priyanka for the color of the gown and not the gown itself….I know some of the makeup artist who don these stars and Anushka’s MUA is fabulous…Will not reveal names though…
