Loreal Nutrishine Lipstick in Shiny Coral Review
Guest Post by Ritika (NC37 -light skin tone, and combination oily skin)
Loreal Claims : Nourishing shine beyond compare… Experience the richest indulgence for your lips. Nourishes like a balm-NutriShine by Colour Riche has a unique formula of Royal Jelly and Shea Butter to help keep lips smooth and soft all day long. The unique jelly formula melts onto your lips to provide nourishment&replenishment.… and shines like a gloss! Thanks to its jelly-like texture, NutriShine by Colour Riche offers more glossy shine than a classical lipstick leaving lips looking luscious with a non-sticky finish. The formula contains fine crystal polymers that reflect light thanks to a very fine network of particles that create a texture as clear and shiny as jelly!
My Views
I am always on a lookout for creamy, glossy lipcolors as they feel so comfortable and light on lips so when I saw this range,I had to pick up certain shades and the texture and finish made me buy 6 of these beauties. The packaging is classy with a lavender pink outer cover and L’oreal written on it. The shade name and shade indication is at the bottom. It definitely feels like a high end product and a luxury product to handle.
Shiny Coral is a soft pink with peach with silver micro shimmers in it that are barely detectable on lips. This shade is flattering on fair to whitish skin tones. On darker skin tones, this might look ashy. The texture is soft and smooth and provides a glossy and healthy look to lips. It is hydrating and doesn’t accentuate dry flaky areas. The lipcolor does not settle in the lip lines. I would like to mention that 2-3 swipes of the lipcolor can form a layer that gathers at the corner of the lips which I really don’t like.
The finish is sheer but buildable enough to cover slight pigmented lips. Staying power is around 2 hours but I really don’t mind re-applying it. It feels very light on lips and I really like the non-sticky formula.
PROS:
~It is soft and moisturising.
~Doesn’t settle in the lip lines.
~The packaging is classy and travel-friendly.
~Feels light on lip.
~Non-sticky formula.
~A pretty everyday wear shade.
~gives a glossy look to lips.
~The shimmer present is not OTT neither it is gritty.
~Fragrance free.
CONS:
~Very low staying power.
~Will look ashy on darker skin tones.
~Not for those having highly pigmented lips.
~Expensive for a drugstore brand.
~it bleeds if over applied.
Verdict: B+
Price: Rs 720/-
Recommendation: L’oreal nutrishine color riche lipstick Shiny Coral is a very soft and hydrating lipstick with classy packaging. The shade will suit fair to wheatish skin tones. It is a nice everyday wear shade and compliment smokey eye looks very well but the staying power is really low and the finish is sheer.
(Editors Note: Im drooling Ritika ! What a gorgeous color, but yes i can see why darker girls with pigmented lips wont enjoy these. I remember swatching the nutrishine range here and they were quite sheer)

Nice review and lip swatches. The colour is really pretty but loreal lip products are too expensive for a student like me
true dear but these days all the brands are coming up with lipstick having a higher price tag!

Hai Ritika, fanatastic review on Nutrishine lipssticks, they are really the best creamy lippys available in the market. L’Oreal Paris is not a Drug Store brand it is a Premium brand in India. Loved the lip swatch…. Yummy color
I think what she means is its too expensive for a brand like loreal . Considering that MAC, EL and Lancome lipsticks cost only about 200 rs more expensive, you dont really put loreal in the same league as thm where lipsticks are cocnerned.
thanks for clearing my point of view Mahek..loreal cannot be counted in hih end brands so we can just consider it as higher level drugstore brand..
you have very luscious lips

This is a gorgeous color but isn’t it very similar to Mac Crosswires Mehak? If not then maybe i’ll try it.
