Lust List: Romance

This weeks lust list is all about romance! And while it doesn’t feature Gerard Butler- an essential ingredient for romance , it does feature some equally lust-worthy items to drool over !!!!W ith Spring around the corner, its time to bring back the pastels, the ruffles, the girly-ness and the soft hues!!!

1. Peach Outfit i saw on Pinterest: This is an outfit for someones Nikah ceremony, and if someone can help me with the designer for this one i would be super greatful. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the white and silver detailing against the peach, i love the silver balls on the dupatta and its just feminine gorgeousness!!!!

2.Peach Nail Polish-Name Unknown: Yet another pinterest find. Need to find a peach like this. ALl the ones i own are either cream or tangerine. Nothing that hits that sweet spot of true peach you know!

3.Amrapali Earrings: I adore Amprapali and now that its available online at im even more ecstatic because their outlets are really kind of far from where i stay. I love this mint green stone with the dull gold detailing and all those intricate romantic shapes created make it perfect to throw on with your all white anarkali for brunch

4.Chair with Gold Detailing: Remember about me wanting a parisian corner? This would fit right in next to a big bay window and all white decor with a nice console and silver mirror!

5.Ruffled Cream Stilletoes by Valentino: Love em! Give me as many flowers on my shoes as you can and i wont complain, but go ahead and put a ruffled flower anywhere on my shirt, t-shirt and i wont touch it !!! I would pair them with something edgy at the top- maybe a soft, creme colored leather jacket. I love leather and lace!

Mehak, have you tried Revlon Peachy nail polish? Its kinda milky peach and does not lean toward red or orange. You might like it. I can only think of that color from what is available in India. Do try that one.

Hey Mehak,
Gorgeous peaches & love the way it blends in the dusky Indian Skin! My guess for No.1 outfit will be ‘Elan couture- a Pakistani design house’ famous for its subtle ‘flowy’ elegance!
We need more of these colours on our brides!
Love your updates! Keep up the good work :)

Syrie Caine April 3, 2013 at 3:50 am

9 to 5 by Julie G is the only nail polish I can think of that is closest in color and opacity. Even then, I think it has a faint yellow tinge in comparison to the photo.

Anisha April 4, 2013 at 2:30 am

Hey Mehak, the outfit is by Mina Hassan. I’m in love with it! I emailed you about your trousseau shopping, maybe you could find a similar one for me :)
