Priyam Says ” I deal with acne by putting nutmeg paste.- which dries out acne, and also prevents future acne and makes skin smoother. Also this face wash i bought from Dubai Neutrogena Clear Face Wash which you dont get here.  This has made my face much clearer.”

Esha Says ” Well Number 1- i cry ! (Lol). Then drink tons of water and wash my face with Neutrogena Visibly Cleaner Face Wash twice a day. It works!”

Pbpanel2-002Sanjana Says ” Im really prone to acne on my forehead- usuall because of heat or PMS. I use The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Blemish Cream. But Peopl on a tighter budget should use Khadi’s Sandal Wood Face Pack . It costs 40 bucks a pack as compared to 600 bucks of TBS”

I say ” Umm wrong person to ask because it not a problem i usually face. But toothpaste is what i use sometimes over night i guess!”

Oh toothpaste is what I used to use too! Now, I dab a bit of sanitizer as soon as I realize I’m going to gety a zit at a place. Or after it appears. Dries it out and Err sanitizes it!

Tea Tree oil is a really great option…Has been very effective for me…Even the garnier active pen has been useful at times.

Swati March 17, 2013 at 11:50 pm

After the numerous pimples I have had in the past these worked quite a bit:
Toothpaste. Fab india clove gel pack. Nutmeg paste with raw milk. Sandalwood paste with rose water overnight.
Or one can use topical clindamycin ointment as a spot application also.
Another good product is salicylic acid.
Apart from that dreid green pea powder works as a good face pack ingredient for acne.

Exactly! I use toothpaste too when i rarely get a pimple. I am not sure exactly what it does but i remember hearing about it somewhere and i started using it but it really does work for me. I get zits due to dehydration mostly.

I had a searious bout of adult acne 2 years back..so bad that my face would actually bleed :(.. The dermatologist recommended clindamycin phosphate in the morning and tretinoin at night…thankfully now my acne is gone and also I don’t have a serious scarring problem…but I apply tretinoin even today every night..I read on google that its a vitamin A derivative and not only reduces acne but improves the overall appearence of skin as well..and I must say that it definitely does the job :)
