bb copy Generally, on an everyday basis my makeup remover is water because i dont wear that much makeup anyway. But on night outs and stuff like that, i swear by MAC Purple Bottle Remover (thats not the actual name, thats just what i call it ).…It was just a big big saviour during my wedding as well….there is no other remover that could have taken off the stubborn makeup done by my MUA.

Maybeline. pocket friendly and works well. Low on qauntity though. I used to use garnier cleansing milk earlier

i don’t use any makeup other than liner and lip balm.. to remove the eye makeup i use Johnson’s baby oil.. works great and removes even the smudge proof and water proof kajals effectively without much effort :) it’s very cheap too…

i had a very bad experience with lakme absolute makeup remover (that blue one). it was hurting my eyes very very badly and was not removing any makeup from my eyes.. i was losing lashes as i was rubbing very hard :( is it with me only? i read some good reviews on that product :( that is when i moved to baby oil solution :P

Thank god it’s not me alone. Same thing happened with me. I’ve been losing lashes because of Lakme’s Absolute makeup remover. Back to good old maybelline and baby oil. :D

OMG…I just bought a bottle of it! Have used it only once…now really scared to use it. Have been using Johnson’s baby oil and Maybelline mostly for eyes.

Baby oil is mineral oil, so be careful in its use also.

Sumathi April 21, 2013 at 6:26 pm

I use coconut oil and olive oil to remove my makeup. these don’t sting my eyes at all..
and even if a little oil goes into my eyes i’m not worried..

Nithya April 21, 2013 at 9:23 pm

Baby oil all the way!

Hi Mehak,
Can you please suggest some good facewashes for dry skin?)(drugstore facewashes as well as high end ones)?Have you used TBS facewashes? What’s your opinion about them?
One more query, though it is not in any way related to this topic. What’s your take on parabens in cosmetic products?

mehak April 23, 2013 at 1:33 pm

Hi RS!…
I use drugstore facewashes only actually. No reason, just dont find the high end ones worth it or all that diff..
Ermm..i do like some of neutrogena’s facewashes and the dove facewash range but honestly im not big on facewahses so i havent tried so many of them
