Tresemme Salon Silk Moisture Shampoo Review

Guest Review By Aditi

Remember those days when your mum calls up and in between those preachy conversations she asks when did you last ( Hot Oil ) Massage your hair and you go into oblivion to find an answer “ I Don’t even remember….” Or “ Long Long Back”. That’s my case at least. For those of you, who are working or studying, hot oil massage is always secondary in a day’s agenda, instead we try to find alternate and easy ways for a healthy looking hair. Well, in the race to find one on the go product, I found Tresemme Salon Silk Moisture for dry, rough hair ( in the wake that this one will give more nourishment and moisture to my normal-dry wavy hair).

What Tresemme Claims:

With Vitamin H and silk protein, intensely moisturizes dry, rough hair. For hair that feels soft and smooth.

What I Feel About Tresemme Salon Silk Moisture Shampoo :

Taking my drained hair into account, I tried this shampoo amongst several shampoos I’ve tried lately. Since then this has become my HG shampoo and I am on the verge to start bottle number two. The Shampoo is little runny in consistency as compared to its conditioner. It is white and has shiny crystal like particles as seen in sun light. It gives nice lather even with a small quantity and does not tangle my medium-long hair during the wash. The hair feels so soft when you caress those tresses even on the second day of wash. The bottle packaging is sturdy and has a convenient press open top. The shampoo and conditioner duo leaves the hair smooth and the smoothness build up with every wash. After the wash I leave my hair to dry itself for a beach wave look and the duo are just right for any kind of hairstyle u thinking to adorn for the day.

Pros of Tresseme Salon Silk Moisture Shampoo:

  1. Affordable
  2. Leaves hair soft and shiny.
  3. Thumbs up for an instant smooth hair.
  4. Suitable for wavy hair as well. Wash and leave your wavy hair for that summery beach look.
  5. Better results than many high end shampoos I have come across.

Cons of Tresseme Salon Silk Moisture Shampoo:

  1. Can’t think of any.

Verdict: A+

Price:  Rs. 128 for 225ml.

Recommendation: There are no two ways for a “YES” as I am on my second bottle. Till the time I find a better alternate, this is my HG drugstore shampoo. It is a superb moisturizing shampoo for dry hair and that too at an affordable price. If you love those smooth silky tresses then go for it..!!

I’ve tried all Tresemme ones except this. I like that they are mild and I’ve had less hairfall issues since I’ve started using them.

Wat is chemical build up?

Its when a shampoo is too heavy, so it might leave residue on your scalp

Interesting, I guess it works differently on different people’s hair. I tried this and it didn’t work for me at all. Left my hair very dry.
