L’oreal Go 360 Clean Anti Breakout Facial Cleanser Review

Guest Review By Shagufta (Oily & Acne Prone Skin)

I was on the verge of breaking my head because of the ultra strict regimen I had to follow to keep the breakouts under control , all amidst an extra hectic schedule !!! It was totally frustrating but  then I came across this amazing product that I am going to review for you guys today called the Loreal Go 360 Anti Breakout Facial Cleanser! It comes with an uber cute thingy called the ‘Scrublet’- isnt that like the cutest word yv ever heard? Scrublet?

Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid (2%).

Inactive Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Coco-Betaine, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Zinc Gluconate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Pentasodium Ethylenediamine Tetramethylene Phosphonate, Menthol, Polyquaternium-47, Fragrance

How to Use: The Scrublet. Step 1: Pop-out. Slide between fingers. Step 2: Dampen surface. Pour it on. Step 3: Cleanse. Pop back in. Pop me out & use to help prevent breakouts. Wet face. Apply product and rinse off. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Use twice daily.

About the packaging: The product comes in an orange bottle packaging which gives a fresh break from the usual and boring face wash packaging. The product is a clear liquid with the consistency of something a little thicker than glycerine. It smells really fresh and according to the claims, it contains 2% salicylic acid for the treatment of acne.  The main claim of the product is anti break out and the use mentioned on the packaging is the treatment of acne.

The product also comes with a scrublet of its own which is supposed to be used to cleanse your skin pore by pore. So the product has to be poured on to the damp scrublet and massaged over your damp skin.

 My Views

Given my current situation, the product with its anti acne claims and cute little baby scrublet was calling out my name. An additional push was the mention of salicylic acid in it as I have heard a lot about how salicylic acid can deal with breakouts and that’s exactly what I needed at this point of time.

I have used this for about three weeks now , following the instructions to use this product twice daily, I use this twice, first thing in the morning and last thing before going to bed. I must say I have seen a great change in my skin with all the current acne gone and this product is also preventing any new acne from surfacing. There is also a considerable reduction in my pores.

I am in absolute love with this one. The scrublet is very flexible and can be worked in gentle circular motions. It does cleanse my skin but the only complain I have is that it dries my face a bit  post washing, and also somehow doesnt leave it super squeaky clean. I am oily-skinned and need to follow up with a moisturizer which means this one is a complete no-no for dry-skinned beauties. I guess the salicylic acid is the reason.
