The more photos i look at, the more i like brides with simple, statement pieces and this stunning polki necklace with a rectangle emerald centre piece is just gorgeousness !!! Love the cream colored pearls, love the sparky-ness of the polki and everything else about it.

PS: Would anyone want a post on bridal jewellery? Difference betweem kundan and polki? How to care for them etc?

It would be nice if you could write a post on what jewelry to wear with which outfit for brides. Example, Heavy jewelry & light lehengas, or vice versa or both heavy. How to match your jewelry with your outfits because most people buy expensive jewelry over years and buy outfits later.
Thanks.

It’s stunning! Please do a post on bridal jewellery! I have no idea how kundan and polki are any different so I need it!

Hi Ikya. Polki is uncut diamonds, but kundan is just glass that has been cut well-enough to imitate a diamond’s shine. Obviously, therefore, polka sets cost a lot more than kundan ones! A lot of lehengas have kundan work on them – which is similar to kundan jewellery! Am I right, Mehak?

Very good topic….would love to know more abt both styles. Could you also provide some indication on the price of both…atleast a fair range for the pieces you feature would really benefit us. I am keralite by birth so pretty much cant think beyond yellow gold :) so looking forward to this!
