Guest Review By Radhika G

Coco Mademoiselle Chanel is a firm favourite perfume  for me for many reasons. One , it is a gift from my brother, Second It is actually an EDP (Eau De Parfum), and as you all know EDP has the highest concentration out of all. And finally it is Chanel, every girl’s delight.

Product Info: Sexy, fresh Oriental fragrance recalls the irrepressible spirit of the young Coco Chanel. An elegant, luxurious spray closest in strength and character to the parfum form. Spray lightly on pulse points morning and evening. The classic bottle signifies personal luxury and is a welcome addition to any dressing table.

Notes: Top notes of Coco Mademoiselle Parfum incorporate Sicilian oranges, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian grapefruit. A floral heart is created of pure rose extract and pure jasmine extract, along with a fruity touch of litchi, while its base notes carry a combination of Indonesian patchouli, Haitian vetiver, Bourbon vanilla ad white musk.

My Experience with Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Parfum:

Coco Mademoiselle is marketed to women in their 20s and 30s, leaving Chanel Chance to the younger crowd, and Coco and No. 5 to the more mature ones . It has top notes of bergamot and orange; a heart of jasmine and “morning rose petals”; and a base of patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, and white musk. Coco Mademoiselle emits a high-pitched floral scent that doesn’t smell of any particular, identifiable combination of flowers. The composition is focused on two characteristic ingredients – jasmine absolute and May rose absolute.

When you first apply it, it smells deep floral, but as it wears, it gets much deeper and muskier followed by citrusy fruity notes of bergamot and grapefruit complimenting each other perfectly. As time passes the floral mid notes of rose and jasmine become prominent gets dispersed very well but still linger on for a long time, leaving behind the hints of white musk and sweetness of vanilla and patchouli.

I totally adore the packaging . The perfume comes in a square shaped glass bottle. It looks like amber and when seen in sunlight it shines like gold.

I find this fragrance  elegant and feminine and it makes me actually feel  luxurious and classy – like i am  wearing Chanel. This fragrance has serious lasting power, so much more than almost any perfume I have ever tried. It stays on for good 6-7 hours on me which is like mind-blowing. Even at the end of the end it stays on the clothes with little hints of musk in it. Whenever I wear it I get so many compliments from people around me. Since it is a bit expensive product I should use it on special occasions, but I would not mind buying another 3 bottles of this EDP.

Pros of Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Parfum:

  • Nice combination of floral and fruity notes
  • Has highest concentration
  • Elegant and feminine packing
  • Staying power is excellent
  • Even at the end of the day the smell lingers

Cons of Coco Mademoiselle Chanel Parfum:

  • Very Expensive

Rating: A+

Price: Rs  5000/- approx for 50 ml

Recommendation: Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is the perfect elegant scent for a girl in her 20’s and 30’s. With a notes that have a heady mix of floral and fruit, the minute this hits your skin it envelops you in a luxurious feeling that only a Chanel product can give. Lasts forever too!

This is my favourite perfume, I’m already on my second bottle. I happened upon it, when some samples arrived with my Rouge Coco Mademoiselle lipstick.

FYI, it smells almost exactly the same as Miss Dior Cherie, having used both, I can say that without a doubt.

Wow. The combination of floral and fruity notes is perhaps my favorite. I agree, good for girls in their 20’s or 30’s looking for an elegant angle. It’s great stuff.
