Here at P&B, Keep it Simple Silly  is definitely our philosophy when it comes to eye makeup ! One tutorial that uses 10 different eyeshadows- No thank you, in that much time i can conquer the world *Puts on cool sunglasses and shakes her head* ! But incase you do want a simple, natural look with a difference while you are busy conquering the world, this Eyeshadow Tutorial with Mac Bronze Eyeshadow would be perfect. I used Mac Bronze, but really this technique can be used with any deep color. I think it would look great with Emerald Green as well!

Lets get started with this tutorial shall we? You shall need

  • One eyeshadow : Preferably something deep and with shimmer (Im using Mac Bronze)
  • A Black eye pencil (Im using Clinique Quickliner)
  • A Mascara (Im Using Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara which i highly recommend)

Step 1: Apply Black Liner on your upper lid.

Step 2: Line the outside of your lower lash line halfway through! Yeah i know, i look like a dacoit (Daku Mangal Singh anyone?)

Step 3: Apply Mac Bronze Eyeshadow on top of the black eyeliner, patting it down.

Step 4: Cover your lid with mac bronze eyeshadow

Step 5: Add Mac Bronze Eyeshadow with a thin angled brush to the lower lash line as well- going over the black liner and extending the eyeshadow all the way into the inner corner.

Step 6: Take a Black eye pencil and fill in the lower waterline and upper lash liner (Tight line it. This means you need to put the pencil just on the inner rim of the upper and lower lash lines.).

Step 7:  Blend Harsh Edges of the shadow, Add Mascara and Ta-Da !DSC01061

Psst: Before you guys give me credit, iv totally copied this from Here . She has done it a gazillion times better than me !

That was super simple right? I loved the end result- looked like an effortlessly pretty eye, and im going to make use of this on my SIL’s wedding !! Its a great look to pair with Indian wear- the kohl adds that touch of Indian-ness and Bronze is a color every Bride to Be should own anyway!!

In other news- check out my new Iphone cover: Its an OWL !!!! Shhh…Its sleeping.

Then i flip it over..and my phone becomes…BATMANNNNN-ish…. Obsessed with this cover. Bought it from Accessorize for Rs 300/- (I love 70% off)

Nice tutorial Mehak. Even this is what I do on a regular basis. Just a wash of color and kohl for tightlining. I love using my NYX Nymph.

I generally use UD Buck as a single colour but this is way more pretty with a shimmery colour like Bronze. :)

It’s. like. you. read. my. mind! I’m a total novice with eye-shadows, no idea how to use them. And I had a tweet ready yesterday to send to u – isn’t there an easy way to use eyeshadow? Without complicated first do this, then that, this phalaana dhimkaana? :p thanks for this!!!! And I haven’t even read the post yet. Just commenting after reading the title! :)
