Mac Liquid Passion Lipglass
Check your pulse ladies because Temperature Rising has hit Mac stores and the racy names on these products may give you all sorts of steamy ideas ! You may be a tad bit ‘Underdressed’ if you are in the mood for your mans ‘Soft Serenade’ and as you gyrate to the ‘Rhythm’ of his beat you are going to feel the ‘Liquid Passion’ ! Nope those weren’t lines from 50 shades of Grey, they are infact the names of the 4 new Mac Lipglasses from this Temperature Rising range!
Liquid Passion is a creamy, peach-nude. Ermm, im not sure what passion means where Mac is made, but anyone who thinks Passion is a peachy nude needs some excitement in their life . That being said, if you are one of those sultry, smokey eye girls with dark eyes and thick lashes this beautiful nude will definitely turn up the heat to elicit some *Its getting hot in here, so take of all your clothes* reactions. That is if you belong to the fairer category. Medium to dark skintones wearing this alone will elicit *Bhoooth hooo mainnn* kind of reactions since this does wash you out a bit. However, if you love layering, then this is a SUPER gloss. Its become my favourite nude lipgloss to layer over bright corals (Quick tip : Bright coral + nude lipgloss=peach perfection) as well as over peachy browns !
If you like Mac Lipglasses, you will like Liquid Passion as well- its got the same slightly thick, sticky formula that lasts forever but feels a bit sticky. Its moisturizing and glides on smoothly but it does settle into rather unbecoming lines specially on my pigmented lips. If darker lips is not your problem and you are lighter than say NC /NW 35 this will look fab!
Pros of Mac Liquid Passion:
- Very Pigmented
- Creamy and smooth to Apply
- Very Long lasting (5 hours )
- Super Classy Packaging
Cons of Mac Liquid Passion
- Settles into lines on the lips
- Will wash out medium and darker skintones
Price: Rs 1150/-
Recommendation: Mac Liquid Passion is a pale, creamy peach-nude that is a super gloss for lighter skintones. It will wash out medium, wheatish or darker skintones but it is a great layering nude lipgloss for them over corals and brighter colours. I dont like that it settles into lines though, and in general iv realised im not a big fan of the Mac Lipglass formula. Its the cremesheens that have my heart!
